johnradfordsubbuteo Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 (edited) Has any one noted with interest, as I have, that Benitez appears to be an admirer of Traore? Thought not. Seem to think we were nearly in for him a couple of years ago and I was tremendously relieved that we didn't. i before e except etc. Edited October 29, 2004 by johnradfordsubbuteo

johnradfordsubbuteo Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Just seen a bizarre quote from Huuuuuuuughsey on the official site from this morning's press conference: "...we are at home and we are expected to rock!" Deliciously ambiguous, don't you think?
broadsword Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Defence will probably rock (and creak ... and groan!)
American Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 New music for them to come out to? For those about to rock..... We salute you.
broadsword Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 "For those about to rock ... we will lose to you"
Nayef Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 New music for them to come out to? For those about to rock..... We salute you. I suggest one for our defence, *Living On A Prayer* Quite apt
LeChuck Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 I'm not sure what it is...but I've got a feeling that De Pedro will be involved tomorrow. We'll still get beat though.
SuperStella Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 1 - 5 And some road accidents coming home... <<click me>>
vyeo Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 prediction: 0-4 pool. cisse (3), garcia (1) 1st wish: rovers to gain victory by any score, 1-0 with the goal going in off the referee will do for me. 2nd wish: matteo to be nowhere near ewood park tomorrow. guess both wishes won't come true. but still, come'on rovers!!!
mode_m Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 2nd wish: matteo to be nowhere near ewood park tomorrow. Can anyone miss the game and take Matteo and Gray out to the pub sat afternoon? get them really ######, they will forget they even play for Rovers, and im sure the defense will benefit.
USABlue Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Don't usually predict but I have a feeling about this one. The last two games I feel have been in part due to the players being "in between" systems. In other words, not quite into what Huhgey is trying to do and not quite rid of the way they played for Souness. I feel this is the week when it starts to click into gear. We are going to win this one, I said it afterthe Chelsea game and I am sticking by that. Not sure of the score but we are going to do 'em. I just hope we do not score early. Also to add insult to injury Rovers fans are going to nick some of the scousers cars.
ABBEY Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 (edited) 5-0 rovers ave it..........stead 2nd half hatrick and gally 2 Edited October 29, 2004 by ABBEY
rover6 Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 5-0 rovers ave it..........stead 2nd half hatrick and gally 2 Question is, are you going to put your money where your mouth is?
92er Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 "De Pedro and Thompson give Rovers a boost"-Thompson has been given the go-ahead to train again and De Pedro has been impressing in the Reserves .Hughes said "Javi didn't play in the Reserves this week because he's worked hard and we felt it's time he had a break. He's dome some good physical work but he needs to do a little bit more and he may come into contention". (LET).
emerton Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 i put 100 dollars on liverpool at 1.70.... lets hope im wrong good to see javi get another run possibly
Al Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Can those going to the pub take Reid with them as well please. Emerton needs to play on the right.
Paul Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 2-1 Rovers. I feel good and blindly optimistic today. Come on you Blues
krislu Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 The line up for today should IMO be: Friedel Neill Todd Short Gray Emo Flitcroft Ferguson Pedersen/De Pedro/Djorkaeff Dickov Stead Just DONT play like this Hughes: Friedel Neill Matteo Short Gray Reid Tugay Ferguson Emerton Dickov Djorkaeff
Lathund Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 IMO it should be: Friedel - Neill Todd Short Gray - Emerton Reid Ferguson Djorkaeff - Stead Dickov.
Hanks Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 3-2 to the rovers, thats from the heart not the head mind, just hope that liverpool have one of there so-so days and recent humblings puts more passion into our lot.
rog of the rovers Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 I think we should play FRIEDEL NEILL SHORT TODD GRAY REID FLITCROFT FERGUSON © PEDERSON STEAD GALLAGHER subs DICKOV DE PEDRO MATTEO ENCKLEMAN JANSEN
tcj_jones Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 (edited) I've had a bad feeling about this match all week - Liverpool have looked amazing recently and on paper they have one of the best starting 11's in the premiership. However, I've got a good feeling about today. I still think we'll lose but maybe by just the one goal. 2-1 Liverpool. Team... Friedel Neill / Todd / Short / Gray Emerton / Reid / Ferguson / Djorkaeff Stead / Bothroyd Edited October 30, 2004 by tcj_jones
