The BRFCS Player Of The Season

All season long, after each game, the members of the BRFCS Forum have voted for their Man Of The Match and by the application of some fairly rudimentary statistical analysis (addition & division…we never said it was rocket science…), we are delighted to share with you all the winner of the 2022/23 award, supported by our sponsors Rovers Trust.

In THIRD PLACE following his introduction into the side after injury to Thomas Kaminski, he delivered a series of excellent displays, it is AYNSLEY PEARS.

The RUNNER-UP is the 'Wilpshire Pirlo' himself, that is ADAM WHARTON. A fine breakthrough season for one of the most prodigious talents to emerge from the Rovers academy for some years.

And the WINNER of the 2022/23 BRFCS PLAYER OF THE SEASON award is… JOE RANKIN-COSTELLO. At one point it looked like Joe would be leaving Rovers in January to go out on loan but a series of excellent displays starting at the end of 2022, cemented his position in the side and convinced BRFCS members to award him MOTM eight times in a run from Boxing Day 2022 until the season's end.

Congratulations Joe on a fine season, from all at BRFCS.
