Hey Siri, show me a game of 2 halves …
The game against Derby was like watching an 80's sports action movie, probably Rocky III, where the hero is knocked down and battered, he's finished, the crowd are on his back and yet … against all odds he finds one last ounce of strength and lands a punch on his opponent, with the opponent stunned our hero manages to land another blow, the opponent is shaken, the hero's theme starts to play in the background … trumpets blaring, growing louder … the hero can't win can he … ? Can he? With his last ounce of strength … everything he's got, every sinew in his body screaming with pain he lands a final blow, the enemy hits the deck, utterly defeated.
The introduction of Sam Gallagher & Bradley Dack at half time was undoubtedly the turning point in this game, and such was Gallagher's contribution he was voted a well deserved Man of the Match by members of the BRFCS.com forum. Such was their contribution however all 3 subs received above average scores, along with Scott Wharton & Tyrhys Dolan who also bagged a goal each.
