Everton are keeping up the checks on Rovers whizz kid Adam Wharton in case they come into money.
Goodison spy Steve Davis watched midfield magician Wharton in action last week and they would love to be in the bidding.
The Toffees tried swap deals in the last window but will have to find real cash to make Blackburn sell next time.
Rovers are also looking into a deal for Swansea’s versatile forward Liam Cullen.
Tomasson wants more options up top and are keen to land Cullen who is out of contract at the end of the season.
This could mean a low offer in the next window to give Cullen a better chance of first team football than he gets in Wales.
