Luton Town are moving for Rovers’ Belgian keeper Thomas Kaminski - after turning down the chance to sign promotion hero keeper Ethan Horvath.
Kaminski will jump at the chance of moving to the Premier League although he will have to compete for a games, with Asmir Begovic set to sign on a free too.
Blackburn will want around £6 million for Kaminski whose wages are also inside the levels that the Hatters plan to pay in the top flight.
Huddersfield’s Lee Nicholls is also an option if they cannot agree a fee for Kaminski. But his price is also higher than they want to pay.
Horvath was shocked to find out he was not staying. The American star helped the Hatters to the Premier League and they had an agreement to buy him from Nottingham Forest at just £1.5 million.
