Newcastle United keeper Karl Darlow is in the middle of a tug of war with Blackburn now rivalling Middlesbrough.
Rovers are keen on Darlow and would like to take him on loan or in a bargain deal as he slips down the pecking order with the Toon. Darlow can leave Newcastle, who ideally want £5 million but may take less. Boro want him, although their original idea was a loan.
Blackburn expect to sell keeper Thomas Kaminski to Luton if they get closer to their £6 million valuation. Anderlecht are also interested.
Everton are already looking at signing a new midfielder to replace Onana and have Blackburn’s outstanding Adam Wharton in their sights.
Newcastle have already made a move for Wharton but Everton may match the valuation and give him a better and quicker chance of playing in the Premier League.
Wharton is also happy to sign a new deal at Blackburn and then look to move in a year. So Everton would also have to sell the transfer to him.
