Blackburn are keen on taking on veteran centre half Danny Batth from Sunderland. 

Rovers are interested in the experienced Batth who could fill a gap in their squad left by Daniel Ayala leaving at the end of his contract. Sunderland can keep Batth if they sort out a one year deal and that is complicating the move to Blackburn who would not pay for him.
