Rovers want quick O’Brien result

Blackburn Rovers want a fast decision from the arbitration panel in their bid to sign Lewis O’Brien from Nottingham Forest.

Rovers have put their case together in the controversial case and are determined to take on the EFL.

However the League are likely to stick by their rule book again and take the full 14 days to compile their version of events.

Blackburn want O’Brien’s loan to be ratified. He has already missed three games since the deadline passed and the move was NOT approved.

If Rovers can push for the case to be heard next week O’Brien would only miss two more games.

If the EFL stick to their schedule then it could be more.

Forest are helpless and await the answer while the player is training but is only available for under-23 duty as he is not in the Premier League squad.
