Venky’s Hope For Cash Injection Boost
Blackburn Rovers owners Venkys hope for the go ahead to fund the club from the Indian government by the end of the month.
Venkys have to apply for permission to transfer cash to Rovers because of an ongoing row with the tax man in their homeland.
However insiders are confident that the cash will be cleared although it is unlikely to be through to make a difference in the window.
Blackburn have put Sam Gallagher’s move on hold partly because they can’t find a replacement. Watford’s Mileta Rajovic is their first choice.
However Watford want around £4 million for the hit man they signed last window.
Bowyer Fancies FGR Job
Gary Bowyer is in the frame for the Forest Green Rovers job - after turning down Ayr United.
