Once again the BRFC CT is looking to help children of Blackburn have a great Christmas.
Planning is well underway as they prepare to welcome 130 local children to Ewood Park as part of their Christmas Holiday and Food (HAF) Camp. These children, eligible for benefit-related free school meals, are at the heart of the Trust's festive community efforts.
Last year BRFCS & 4000 Holes supported the appeal as part of the club's Fans Takeover initiative, but in the absence of a similar fixture this season, the popular fan website/fanzine & podcast is trying to galvanise its readers & listeners to donate directly to BRFC CT by buying small ticket items from Amazon from a gift registry set up by BRFC CT.
“It's important that the kids don't miss out on the best possible Christmas and our appeal was so successful last year, we wanted to do whatever we can to promote this year's sterling efforts by BRFC CT” said a BRFCS/4000 Holes spokesman earlier.
