Tayo Edun is one of the players rumoured to be out on a move away from Ewood, with a loan to League 1 or Europe being the likely destination, reports LancsLive.
Where’s Tayo Edun off to then ?
Sheffield Wednesday perhaps…
Where’s George Hirst off to then ?
Ipswich perhaps…
The 72 are reprting that Rovers “international defender” is attracting transfer attention … the defender? Louie Annesley from Gibralter with Dundalk ready to sign hi8m as his deal is up at Ewood in the summer.
Rather than say we are going in for any of these three now it looks like we've lost out on Malcolm Ebiowei, The 72 suggests we should have a look at Carlos Borges at Man City, Garang Kuol at Newcastle & Reiss Nelson from Arsenal. Not really transfer romours, more like “These are 3 other players”.
04/01 All quiet on the transfer front. Transfer windows at Ewood are not the chum fueled feeding frenzy they once were, more dropping a few flakes into the goldfish bowl. Give it a few weeks and things will warm up a bit as the rumour mill gets into it's stride. In the meantime @_ElliottJackson has an article doing just what I'm doing here, filling some space while we wait for something to happen.
January transfer state of play. #Rovers will need to be creative, as Tomasson has already outlined. An attacker and a more experienced central midfielder option are on the radar.Outgoings are anticipated too, more detailed below.https://t.co/cmlC2Nfcsh— Elliott Jackson (@_ElliottJackson) January 4, 2023

03/01 14:14 A bit slow on the old transfer news front right now, but this is Blackburn Rovers we're talking about … just wait till the end of the window and everyone and their dog will be linked.!
Malcolm Ebiowei move might not be as done & dusted as reported earlier, the race is still ongoing according to InsideFutbol

Malcolm Ebiowei is off to Hull, as reported by @_ElliottJackson
Certainly nothing imminent on Malcolm Ebiowei after links to #Rovers. Plenty of Championship suitors with Hull City pushing particularly hard. Potential interest makes sense given likelihood of Dilan Markanday leaving on loan this month. One to keep an eye on.— Elliott Jackson (@_ElliottJackson) January 2, 2023
