I've got a cheap Tranwo one and it's rubbish. I have tried all three channels on it, turned the wireless router off, unplugged the phone, unplugged the microwave, anything you can think, and I still get interferance on all three channels. -

I don't think it's a bad thing. The article says the install is an option so you don't have to waste space if you don't want. And if the disk space is there, why not use it to speed up loading times? This is one of the biggest things people complain about after all. -
If you can do 2 days then KLM are around £70 - £80 from Heathrow to Amsterdam.

Playing Bomberman Act Zero at the moment and really enjoying it. Not as quirky as the original PC/SNES/Megadrive versions but still fun. Haven't played it online yet but I reckon that will make for the best games. Can't stand the loading and going back to the main menu every time you die though. -

Just got the Xbox 360 version today and it is a completely different engine to the Xbox 1 and I can't say it's for the better. If people thought the PS2 / Xbox version was rubbish, that isn't anything compared to the 360 verson. I might give it another go tonight, or I might just play PES6 -
You can't use these option files for the 360. Check the Pesfan.com forums for the 360 versions. To get them on, you would need a memory card and a memory transfer kit, or one of the gadgets that lets you read the 360 HD on the PC. There doesn't appear to be much point though as so far they can only update player names. They cannot update Team Names, Kits, Transfers, Stadiums, Boots, Shirt Names, Squad Numbers. So stick to the PS2 version!

Got to agree. I like playing both games for different reasons but I just can't understand the people who go out of their way to slag FIFA off. There seems to be too many people jumping on the Fifa bashing just because it's the "cool" thing to do. * rant over, I'm having a bad morning already * -
That just doesn't make sense. So you would prefer for him to do as he did, ie had a great position and view yet get it wrong rather than having a crap view and still getting it wrong. I would have thought the reverse then at least we could argue that he was unsighted.

that's the whole problem.

That's what I'll be saying if we lose. If not then bring it on. Great competition. Want to win them all. -
So no disabled people travel around / live in London due to the underground. Classic. There are buses, cabs, and overground trains just like every other town / city in this country. --> QUOTE(Ste B @ Oct 23 2006, 08:39 ) 454466[/snapback] Would that be your travel plans that allow you to post from an NTL account in the Brighton area 2.5 hours after the game has finished. I think you're underestimating him. I reckon he VNC'd into his home computer from his Aunts to post the first message.

Did you actually watch the game or are you just spouting crap again?
-
I wouldn't go that far. The performance today was actually very very good. We dominated the game and there is no doubt we should have won. But for a bit of dodgy defending, two crap penalties and a very boring Bolton defense, we would have done. There are by far in away more positives to this game than negatives. Bolton were just plainly lucky on the day. I can confirm it (as I think I said). I saw the replays on TV and it was clearly over.
-
Nope they were both shockingly poor penalties, both placed just to the keepers left, both weak and on the ground. I really thought Roberts was going to do the business as he demanded to take the second even though McCarthy wanted another try. Damn it. Also, from the replays, the ball looked clearly over the line for our dissalowed header. Can't really blame the ref as it was very quick however he was staring right at it with a clear line of sight. The defending was woeful for Bolton's goal. Campo lost Neill far too easily for a clear header. Rubbish. Still, if we can't scored from 2 penalties then really we deserve nothing.

It's not out yet so it's not in the shops (until Friday) I suspect it will be possible, you can already read read and write to the 360 hard drive by hooking it up to a PC so I reckon someone will figure something out.

I was reading an article the other day which mentioned Firefox and Opera both had similar large holes in them. Funnily enough, they don't get highlighted as much as MS failings. (I use firefox!)

I've just had a quick play of the XBOX 360 version and I think I am going to love this game. The graphics are stunning, far better than the Fifa 2007 effort on the 360 (going off the Fifa demo). The only let down here is the rubbish kit and team names they still give most of the teams. I'm sick of playing as Lancashire. Still, I'm sure there will be a patch soon enough. All the correct players names are there, Kuqi's still there for some strange reason as Nonda has made it in. The gameplay is what we expect from PES, superb. The 360 pad has been used to it's fullest and they've made use of the extra trigger buttons well. Right, I'm going back to it now. Great game.

You've played 3 career seasons and it's only been out for a couple of weeks!!! That is dedication. -
Current government? I'll be very worried if ANY government get all this information together.

Watched "Click" last night. Not bad for a couple of hours of cinema. Nothing groundbreaking or hasn't been done before but still good fun. Also Kate Beckinsale is lovely

nope http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/STCS1/3-..._6/Product.html That's the one for me. HD glory.

By the way, did anyone see "The Match" last night on Sky 1. At one point they were playing what looked like an edited version of PES 6 on the XBOX 360. It looked pretty damn good if you ask me. -

Just finished the first level demo of F.E.A.R. and it is every bit as good as the PC version. Still very freaky and the graphics are excellent.
