Kargbo's contract runs out in 18 months. He's out of favour at Serie B side who are mid table... He'll be about 500k or significantly more depending on if he gets X amounts of goals or assists which he likely won't. That's my guess.

Kargbo certainly a C or D list choice which should show you what the 'budget' is... Make no mistake, this is a hit and hope type signing (if it happens) who is totally unprepared for the rough and tumble of the championship. We've obviously asked about all the preferred championship experienced attacking players and realised we've absolutely no chance. Now we're back to buying random obscure players. Hopefully we get lucky but I'm extremely skeptical that this one will be anywhere near good enough to excell in the championship.

I wouldn't be surprised if we've asked about an Ipswich player or 2... Al Hamadi, Broadhead etc

Nah it's very simple... He doesn't get told to stay high up the pitch. He doesn't get any assists or goals because he simply doesn't play in or around the opponents 18 yard box enough and starts wandering around the pitch.

Now, whilst the lad may be a good player, I just don't think he's what we need and just steps on the toes of Cantwell. We need genuine pace out wide.

I think the wages on that one will be way out of our league. Toffolo might be a bit more affordable but probably not.

If we're talking to Forest I'd also ask about Toffolo and move Beck further up the pitch.

To be fair... Buckley really grew into that game, a very Jekyll and Hyde performance from him so far. He looked really good in that last 15/20 minutes

Still feel like the best player we could realistically get is Poku. Injury or not, if we can get another attacking player on loan and spend on him... Could give us a real boost in March and kick us on.
