People say he puts in the effort but I don't see it. When he was here on loan he was playing for a contract but since he got signed he gets a decent wedge every week and simply lacks desire and passion for the game. Earlier in the season someone pissed him off and he put in a decent performance, probably his only one. I've seen bad strikers and they try but just can't hit the net. He rarely gets the opportunity because he doesn't seem interested most of the time. He looked visibly pissed off at himself over that miss last night though.

A lot of them just think it's a one off. Oh dear, just wait till he runs out of ideas and the thread becomes Tombola Tony.

Good win as these days I'm expecting little from a team that's scraping by. Morton should have made it 2-0 but thankfully it didn't come back to haunt us.

Inconsistent. Yesterday JDT admitted that the first half was not the game plan. It sounds as if they got a bollocking and they played better. Hopefully it’s a turning point. Some of our players still only play half a game, or sometimes no game, as they did under Mowbray.

I've just noticed that we've now won more games than everyone apart from Burnley, Sheffield Utd and Middlesbrough. We've also lost the most in the top half of the table. Also Millwall play Burnley at home when we play Blackpool. Just a shame that we've sustained injuries to two of our main players.

If we had the players to play more in our opponents half, we'd be less shite too. There's no one in midfield who can consistently pass the ball or create chances, no one up front to hold up the ball and there's not enough goals from the forwards. Some of it is a mentality issue, but that didn't suddenly arrive in Summer 2022. I've been seeing it from some of these players for years.

I wish them the very best in their next game.
