  1. Not happy with Pears keep throwing it out and putting the defence under pressure.
  2. Is this legally watchable anywhere?
  3. Don't forget Tim Flowers, my personal favourite as he was a lovely fellow as well. Never met the others, although I shook Bobby Mimms hand when we were promoted. Giddiest footballer ever Mimms.
  4. It's not working when you consider it's taken about a decade to get a decent defense together. And consider that Brereton is sold for £20m, that makes a small dent in the £140m debt. What would work is running the club like a proper football club, getting promoted and getting the club in a healthier financial position.
  5. Decent keeper but nowhere near as good as Brad Friedel. Way past his prime when we got him, whereas Brad was at his peak. Didn't Robinson also make some misjudged comments about Rovers when Burnley got promoted as well? That was silly considering he made so many appearances for us and only a few for them. You'd think that would count for something.
  6. Reminds me of getting rid of Speedie and getting Shearer, apart from there's no Shearer just paying off debts that were created by clueless tossers.
  7. Maja wouldn't be a bad signing if he passes a medical, but a replacement for Brereton - not sure about that one.
  8. For the first time in over a decade the team have actually looked settled and balanced too. Getting rid of Brereton will really upset that I think as he's become a good motivator. You have an inspiring player scoring goals for you showing some passion and it has an effect on the rest of the team.
  9. We lose BBD in January and kiss any chance of any PL miracles goodbye.
  10. It would depend on if there's a strong possibility of automatic promotion as the rewards for the club are far greater and Brereton's value may even exceed £20m.
  11. Looks like their £26m midfielder Lerma is out. Big blow to them. They thought he'd be back for this game. https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/19776776.lerma-hit-4-000-fine-two-match-ban/
  12. Bournemouth fans forum thread. 48% think Rovers will win. https://bournemouth-forum.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/afc-bournemouth-v-blackburn-rovers.15011/
  13. That website hurts my eyes.
  14. It’ll be a strange old season if Mowbray decides to go to League 1 mid-table Ipswich with owners that demand results. Not really a side step, more of a Moonwalk followed by falling unceremoniously off stage.
  15. I remember him on the the pitch at the end of a season saying he’d buy us a new stand if we kept supporting the team. Good times.
  16. It would have been good if they replaced the Riverside with a smaller two tier stand bringing it to the same height as the rest of the stadium but around the same capacity as it is now (doesn't matter if it's less), space underneath for bars and refreshments and have it closer to the pitch. Always had a soft spot for that old creaking rust bucket though.
  17. I don't think anyone has explained all this to them. They seem to think you make money from selling young players and that's that.
  18. If you look on the Bournemouth forum there’s some fans who aren’t convinced they’ll stay in the top two.
  19. Peacock was often in Utopia, usually staggering out at 3am. I remember on one occasion he was absolutely smashed, then he was playing the day after! Terrible discipline.
  20. Looks like TM wants £20m for him.
  21. You can’t admit to a squirm worthy comment about Wharton, then tell people not to be critical about a serial disappointment like Gallagher who cost £5m. While Brereton may be the one getting the plaudits, Wharton is the secret ingredient we’ve been missing. How many good results now with him in the team? Amazing player.
  22. Let’s hope he falls back down. Couldn’t happen to a nicer set of fans.
  23. Yet Preston fans are delighted with him it seems 😄
  24. If only Dahlin had showed the composure of Flo that day. I was right in front of the unbelievable sending off incident but Le Saux was an absolute shit all match. He will forever be one of my favourite Rovers players but this match soured that. Considering he wanted to leave it made no sense that he should be so bitter towards his former team mates and fans. Perez was having a brilliant game too. One of the great Premier League referee muck ups along with those diddled losses against Manchester Utd. Anyone remember this "famous" Man Utd fan? And no he's not that bloke from Hills Have Eyes, or Jimmy Somerville.
