  1. Brilliant that. You spoke well and put across the facts, context and general mood perfectly. Something that’s usually lacking in Rovers coverage.
  2. I voted Rob Edwards as he got humble Luton promoted and I can’t see Big Sam or Warnock being in the frame. Also age is against those two.
  3. I'd prefer Rob Edwards over O'Neil. Got a promotion. All of the candidates seem underwhelming tbh.
  4. In the last 15 years Derby have been 13 years in the Championship and 2 years in League 1. You'd think with the way he's speaking he'd joined Barcelona.
  5. Do you seriously think that's a consideration for football managers?
  6. Wellens joint favourite with Carsley on Talksportbet. https://www.talksportbet.com/en-gb/sports/240/meetings/441511110/events/2415997000?market_group=11233
  7. Neither side was any good in the first half.
  8. Relegated Oldham to League 2. Parted company by mutual consent with Salford City. Sacked by Doncaster. 13 points in 19 matches, left them in 23rd place. Seems to be doing well at Leyton Orient but it would be a concerning appointment. And we'd have to pay compensation!
  9. Still an idiot to go now regardless of the clubs fortunes next year. But as I said in another thread, what we think of Eustace is irrelevant anyway. What is relevant is that we're stuck with the absolute scumbags creating an atmosphere so vile that two decent consecutive managers have left.
  10. The lasting thought of Eustace will be "what an idiot." In his Derby press conference he looks and sounds like an idiot, and I believe in his own head he's thinking what have I done? It's a decision made out of emotion rather than any real thought. It's completely understandable he wants to get Waggott and Suhail out of his life. Notably not Venkys as he said he's not had any communication with them, so that proves how toxic the pair of them are and they need removing asap. It also proves that Venkys don't give a monkeys about the club one bit as long as they don't need to spend on it. Clearly W&S are in sole charge. But still "what an idiot." I know you wanted to work for an owner that cares about their club but to go to Derby of all clubs, in 22nd place, fighting relegation with a very poor squad. Come Summer he'd have had more choice of a new club and he may well have got BRFC in the play offs. Something so many have failed to do with bigger budgets. What an idiot.
  11. They'll find a way to fuck it up. Best to just enjoy the small victories.
  12. Travis was brilliant tonight, we have missed that. Be great to get Tron and Yuki back. We'll need Carter if Batth is out for any length of time.
  13. Fantastic second half after a lethargic first half. Big Mak seems a different player, that first goal was unreal.
  14. Is that why he squints a lot?
  15. I'm fully expecting Forshaw trotting on to add much needed pace. Why isn't Damian Johnson caretaker manager?
  16. We're good at turning a counter attack into defending. We get the ball back, get to the half way line, the oppositions got a panic on. We then think fuck it lets pass it backwards so we can spend a few minutes knocking it about in our own box.
  17. Mutual consent officially but to me it looked like a dignified sacking.
  18. I think they'd both be horrific.
  19. I have a feeling it's going to by Ryan Lowe. Local, out of work, cheap, sacked from a local rival, pointless.
  20. Being angry at Eustace is pointless. He's left because Venkys and their underlings are fucking useless and they deserve every bit of the flak. Imagine your work environment and colleagues being that shite that you're leaving a sixth place club for one in 22nd place. Imagine the likes of Waggott and a smug cunt called Suhail who has no clue about football constantly sticking a spoke in the wheels. Oh I forget, we don't need to imagine that one because it happens every fucking year!
  21. Whatever anyone thinks of Eustace it's a side issue.
  22. The company's chairman Anuradha J Desai said: "We don't need to buy expensive players, we can always lease them. "
  23. I would have mentioned JDT but it wasn't the January window that led to him leaving, it was the end of the previous season when the hierarchy let it be known they wanted to sell anyone worth anything and release anyone on a decent wedge.
  24. Three January transfer windows they've fucked up, and this one has led to the manager leaving.
