  1. With two defenders and a midfielder missing from the team at the weekend.
  2. It's like the match last night didn't happen.
  3. I've seen so many people saying "he had no choice" (to play Magloire) last night and today, and no one is pointing out we actually have Pike. Or we did but TM decided to loan him for a month. Such bad management considering the lack of cover.
  4. It beggars belief how anyone can say that Mowbray got it right. It was wrong and then some. The game had already changed when Rothwell came off, but at that point the manager went full Mowbray.
  5. Considering the cover we have is injured, Pike is on loan and Poveda was a mistake I think you're right. Three bollocks dropped by Mowbray right there.
  6. He signed an injured CB as cover saying to the press at the time he wasn't worried. Great decision that. Bloody halfwit.
  7. Can someone reboot Chaddy?
  8. He screwed up the subs, again. You're acting like this is a new thing. Poveda, Clarkson and Magloire shouldn't have been on the bench never mind the pitch. 3 at the back with wingbacks - so that's 5 at the back with 3 forwards Chaddy. That's madness when we're trying to hang on.
  9. Another defeat I reckon. Weak in defence and weak in imagination from Mowbray. This is what happens when the manager doesn't get rid of players clearly not up to it like Magloire, loans injured players like Van Hecke (saying he's not worried about depth), along with signing more youngsters clearly not up to it. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
  10. He was a weak link going forward last night. Either misplaced passes, terrible control or running into trouble. One of those games where he offered absolutely nothing.
  11. Nah, I read it, I just think you're a bit odd if you think that changing the shape of the team to include Magloire was in any way a good idea. It's your opinion but any person who watched can see you were wrong. It made us not only weak in defence but none existent in midfield. Would using Edun at the back have been a perfect solution? No, but I'd have taken it over Magloire and a formation change. It's not the first time Mowbray has used Magloire this season and worsened the team as a result. Magloire is almost 23, not a young lad like Clarkson. You've been a contrarian and apologist for all sorts on here over the years. I took it as you were seeking attention, so I usually just ignore but as you quoted me I replied.
  12. He might just be a poor player. Who knows but he shouldn’t be chosen above others who have looked promising, just because his parent club is a crap premier league team.
  13. Not sure about Edun but what I do know is that Magloire should be nowhere near the first team. Complete liability.
  14. Signed with a pre-existing injury. Mowbrays words at the time… “I think it might be the next international break, two or three weeks, before we can get him on the grass. “I was fine with that at the time and I am now. “We’re trying to manage Daniel’s workload and keep him on the pitch and playing matches. “Darragh has been robust the last couple of seasons and hopefully will be again. “We’ve got the emergence of Carter and Magloire so we’re not sat here worrying too much about it. “He’ll be ready to play in three or four weeks and then on the next few weeks training with us.”
  15. On the 75th minute of a game you're hanging onto it's quite simple though. Gallagher was a weak link so considering who was left on the bench put Butterworth on for Gallagher and Edun for Rothwell who looked tired. Keep Dolan on, but bring Khadra on if you must. Keep it simple and try to hang onto that point while counter attacking. Certainly don't put two players on who have been very poor in previous games. Give them a run out when we're 5-1 up, not when we're clinging onto 2-2 away from home.
  16. He had alternatives tonight.
  17. One thing to note, Clarkson is a teenager, Mowbray shouldn't be throwing him into high pressure situations like that expecting him to deliver. Poveda is 21 (22 in February) and should be a lot better than that in the Championship. They could improve but I can't see either of them featuring for their parent clubs in the future.
  18. If Magloire plays and Mowbray insists on using Poveda and Clarkson again, we're screwed.
  19. Well I'm certainly not going to bow to yours with some of your past statements and being the original resident contrarian. Magloire has never convinced. Edun has been purchased, I would hope, because he's a decent defender. But I imagine you thought that Clarkson and Poveda were the perfect substitutes for tonights game, Mowbray did great and was unlucky, ra ra ra.
  20. Championship top scorer, never would have thought it. Did I read the Chilean's use a hypnotherapist to inspire confidence in their squad. Can we bring them here?
  21. Did you not watch the game? The depth to the squad was plain to see. Mowbray's tinkering was plain to see. The loanee quality was plain to see. Last season we had the second top scorer and finished 15th. Goals have never been the problem.
  22. Gallagher off yes, but Dolan should have been kept on as there's always a chance he'll cause problems. Especially considering the inclusion of Poveda and Clarkson which made ball retention next to impossible. Their third goal was from Clarkson losing it in their half.
  23. 15 minutes would have done us, probably.
