Mowbray let off by the ref again. Disallowed Hull goal. Only a matter of time. -

Young players lacking experience, older players lacking quality, manager lacking a brain. We’ve gone full Venky. -

Did anyone ever think Brereton on his own upfront would ever work? Apart from Tony Mowbray? And that’s just the cherry on the cake. Midfield and defence so poor. Staggeringly poor management and recruitment. -

Corner kick to us ends up with Kaminski within 5 seconds. Moments later Hull almost score. Sums up Mony Towbrays Rovers. -

First shot on target, Dolan. Good save. -

Brereton on his own up front, at home. Clearly not working. No shots on target. Hull being allowed more time on the ball. Mowbray immobile. 35 minutes gone. -

For a possession based team we lose the ball a lot. Both teams looking poor. -
This is the narrative he wants you to believe, because he said as much in his press conference. Don't fall for it. Yesterday... Playing poorly - check Very lucky not to be a goal down - check No clean sheet - check (17 games on) Tactical change giving opposition space and confidence - check Defense capitulating - check £12m strikeforce misfiring - check Losing a strong lead - check Conceding more than one goal - check Blame everyone but himself - check I have a lot of criticism for Venkys and co but the above is all Mowbray. Over the last three years nothing has changed, it's just wearing very thin now.
-
Well now we know why he signs crap attacking players, he’s judging them on their defensive qualities. Poorly.

He scored 4 in 11 for Trabzonspor, Turkish super league. Looked to be playing well then caught up in a betting scandal and banned/sacked. I reckon he could do a job in the championship and he keeps posting on Twitter he just wants to be back playing. -
Please just put us out of our misery and go Tony.
-
I still can’t believe he kept him on. It’s almost like he’s being forced to. How could you watch that performance and think it was worthy of a full 90?
-
So much wrong in that statement. For a start we didn’t lose. Even so Mowbray is useless and nothing will change that. It’s pretty clear he’s stuck in his ways and too stubborn to change. Or he may just be thick. Either way he needs to go.
-
To be clear and concise, he was the worst player on the pitch.
-
And low forehead.
-
He was having a good laugh with the fourth official moments before they scored. He clearly looked like a man who could not give a toss.
-
It’s a brilliant feature, but please let us be able to rate the manager. Please allow us some catharsis.
-
And still nowhere near as horrifying as Mowbrays caricature of a football manager.
-
There’s absolutely no way that Butterworth or McBride can be any worse than Gallagher was today. But he didn’t spend £5m on them so not happening.
-
Brereton didn’t have a terrible game. But yes Mowbray lost 2 points there due to his awful management and Gallagher shouldn’t have been on the pitch.
-
Harsh only because he shouldn’t have been on the pitch. But he was terrible, no qualities about his game whatsoever. He returned to how he was when he was first signed for £5m. No idea what Mowbray saw in him to keep him on for 90 minutes.
-
He reflects his dickhead manager.
-
Parked the bus and tried to hit them on the break when 2-1. Brought Magloire on and put Pickering and Nyambe at wing back. Instead it invited more pressure from Luton who were already working their socks off for any chance. Then did hit them on the break but neither Brereton or Gallagher could get the ball in the net. Went down other end, Luton goal. If I owned Rovers I’d take Tony into the office, lock the door, tell him exactly what I thought in great detail using some quite strong language along with some sexual swearing. When he left the office he wouldn’t be Rovers manager. That was textbook Tony Mowbray. His entire time managing Rovers in the championship encapsulated in 30 minutes. Lots of running about, unfathomable decisions, not much to show for it.
-
Can’t blame anyone else but Mowbray, he bought the ineffectual strikers, he decided to park the bus against Luton, he wasn’t able to sign players, he’s the one with the bizarre tactics. There were clearly players on the pitch that were playing poorly or were tired. Mowbray did nothing except have a good old laugh at the fourth official replacing the ref.
