He definitely wouldn't have left if he had his own way. He wanted to get promoted with Rovers and still lived at home with his parents. He'd have flourished under Eustace.
-
He's scored 10 goals so far in L1, can play in the middle, left or right. 22 years old. Aside from a serious injury of a Matt Jansen magnitude he'll go up in value. I imagine it'd be him and Cantwell battling it out for the CAM position and Cantwell needs some competition. But you're kind of right, the club is ran without imagination. Under normal running conditions we'd get those players + Aasgard but now we desperately need an out and out striker.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard I hope at some point he tells Waggott what he is, but I'm sure he's no stranger to people telling him he's a self serving prick.

If we were a normal club we would, but a normal club would have signed someone decent instead of Forshaw. If that's the calibre of signing that they think is fit to step in for either Travis or Tronstad, who the hell have the got lined up as attackers? They'd sign the ghosts of Denis Law and George Best if they could, and even then they'd be looking for the div3 equivalents. Forshaw is a downgrade from Baker but a step up from Fleck, but only because Fleck had part of his leg missing.

	Seriously?

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard A rough prediction, but probably Tuesday when we will no doubt start with Dolan, Hedges and JRC then they'll get subbed for ACD, Gueye and Forshaw in the second half. Failing that next weekend against Bristol.
-
Course we haven't, no doubt we will be waiting till the end of the window hoping that no one else bids for him to get him on the cheap.
-
He'll be playing against us on Tuesday with confidence sky high.
-
And fucked up the second with a point lost thanks to one of our signings.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Boro are now getting beat by Portsmouth!

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Eustace needs to get creative because there's no way we're beating Coventry with that set up. We used to be decent everywhere but going forward but now we've no midfield. Anyone know how far Travis is away from coming back?

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard He kicked the ball straight to one of theirs across the ground, which led to the free kick which they scored from. Then later on he skied the ball into another town instead of crossing it. If he'd swapped those two decisions around we'd be a point up.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard They've managed to go from Baker who was distinctly average to Forshaw who has no legs. Rather than no signings in January we're blatantly downgrading. All those people who said "he's only cover" - well there's your cover. Pointless having cover that can't play football. May as well stick a football kit on a cone, though a cone may have cleared the ball better and we'd have left with a point today.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Get used to that folks as without Travis and Tronstad we've got Forshaw and Buckley. What a set of bastards Venkys and Waggott are. From Adam Wharton going for £19m to a free signing who struggles to kick a ball.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Garrett is better than Forshaw.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard He's got to be better than Forshaw who is abysmal and cost us a point.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Hyam almost scored at the death - goalmouth scramble and he stabbed at it, but straight to the keeper. I think it was Hyam.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Can we not transfer him to Burnley? May seem a bit heavy handed, but just for a few months?
-
v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Got them under pressure and they are at sixes and sevens only for Forshaw to provide the worst cross/shot I think I've ever seen. And now the ball is somewhere in Luton.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard There does seem a concerted effort to scupper our chances if we've ever the slightest chance of promotion. Four seasons in a row now? Almost got us relegated in one of them.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard No chance of that with the way we're playing at the moment. Since the subs there's nothing there. It's more likely to be 2-0 than 1-1.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Yep, they are doing it again.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Venkys and their slug to blame for that one.
-
v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard It's not just losing Tronstad, it's replacing him with a man who is well off the pace and can't pass to his own players. And today has been a liability.

v Oxford United (a) - 18/1/25booth replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Too many injuries/not enough depth. It's now 18th January and so far nothing to address it apart from waste a place on Forshaw.
