It’s both. Under normal owners Mowbray would have been sacked after the Brereton signing when we needed defenders. But then normal owners wouldn’t have allowed him to do it.

£5m and £7m on players he doesn’t trust with being the main striker.

I’m glad he’s gone full Mowbray from the off. Get it over and done with quickly.

Personally I think this season will be a disaster and Mowbray will be off within it. He’s clearly telling them all is fine, and when it isn’t they’ll be “confused” and bring in the next “yes boss” chancer. And the next one probably won’t even be capable of promotion from league 1. Maybe I’m naive but I think they will put transfer money into the club again, I just don’t think they’ll give Mowbray any after his string of big money flops. I’m still baffled why Venkys want a football club. The only thing I know for a fact is they’ve stolen that coat of arms from Gonzo.

You have to pay for a (streaming) season ticket apparently. They wonder why people use pirate streams.

And we’re skint with a £12m+ forward line if Armstrong goes. £30m if he doesn’t. No excuses Mowbray.

So the club has switched from iFollow to their own streaming service and it’s already worse than iFollow - which wasn’t the greatest itself. Ffs. We’re still in a pandemic and some people still cannot go to games (though I imagine it’s quite socially distanced with the stadium 1/3 full). But quite why you can’t purchase a match day pass in this day and age I don’t know. I can’t get to the game due to family commitments, so I guess I can’t see it then. Maybe it’s a blessed release. Edit: so I’ve just seen that Saturday 3pm kick offs are excluded from streaming. In my opinion a premature decision by the EFL considering the amount of elderly fans who can’t go. Also madness that international fans have to pay for a full season pass upfront, rather than on a match by match basis. I imagine that’s a club decision.

I can’t see any of the three managing to score the goals required to keep the club in this league tbh. Idah would be useful for league 1 if that’s what we’re planning for though.

Is there no way to stream it officially?

I’d just like to know how we do it via official means.

Why? We wouldn't see much of that £15m if any, and Idah is another young player with potential who hasn't scored many goals professionally and under Mowbray probably won't feature for another two years anyway when he'll be slowly introduced to the wing.

The other worry is if Mowbray used him as an undroppable replacement for Armstrong. Resting our hopes on a 21 year old who has scored only 5 senior goals would be another gamble for the club, overseen by a manager who is no stranger to dropping a bollock or two. I mean let’s face it he’d be playing centre half by Christmas.

I wish I hadn’t bothered watching Rovers for the last 18 months, I’d be a bit richer and ignorance is bliss.

He’s played senior football and played well, but not much. He actually has a lot of potential, very quick, confident, can finish etc, but we’ve so many players with potential at the moment it would be frustrating waiting for yet another youngster to slowly “develop” under Mowbray. If we sell Armstrong we need quality. He may turn out great but there’s also a decent chance that he wouldn’t. Especially under Mowbray. If we didn’t have a squad full of young developing “talent” he might have been an interesting signing.

Not sure why people want Obafemi, it’d be another unproven forward taking up a place. Mowbray would never play him and he’d keep McBride away from getting an opportunity.

Two weeks to go, substantial outgoings yet no signings. Venky’s are letting him see his contract out. And honourable Tony knows it.
