  1. Well he will keep rewarding players like Smallwood who continually make mistakes.
  2. And this is why we should have been strengthening our defence in Summer instead of pledging silly amounts for 19 year old unknowns. Will only get away with League 1 defending for so long.
  3. And perhaps if that money had been invested more wisely we'd have had a team more capable of keeping clean sheets. The issue of the signing of Brereton is more than just his quality on the pitch.
  4. Mowbray picked them. Mowbray decided to take a gamble on a young lad instead of strengthening the defence. Loads of people said that the players you have mentioned needed competition or replacing with championship level players but Mowbray was happy to stick with those that got us promoted. This is all fair enough if this season is just to stay in the division and strengthen next season for a real push. Got to question the signing of Brereton though.
  5. More points thrown away. Should have picked up a decent striker in Summer, Graham looked knackered. The more I see of Armstrong, the more I don't think he's cut out for this league.
  6. Puts them in the air when they need to be on the ground and vice versa. Such a frustrating player.
  7. Two games, two worldies from the oppo. Let's hope we can get another to cancel it out.
  8. Common sense, I don't see how difficult is to for some to see it. You don't gamble on team selection when your defense is leaky. Jim was spot on.
  9. One would hope that we replicate last season with a more convincing second half after a few transfer dealings. Though a worry for me is that the Brereton deal may render the Jan transfer window irrelevant.
  10. You were saying the scoreline and way we were playing was no reflection of the team sheet, and berating anyone who said otherwise. Tongue in cheek? Shite in gob more like.
  11. When you've got a half decent team but with obvious failings you would think he'd play it safe but he makes the same mistakes over and over. It's like Bowyer all over again.
  12. Says the man who continually defended Mowbray not starting with a striker and verbally abusing others in the process. You absolute dunce.
  13. I'd say he handed it to them with a great big bow on. There was only him and Bigdogsteel who thought starting without a striker upfront would yield positive results.
