  1. Your reply was pretty much gibberish and contradicted your earlier post, that was kind of the point.
  2. I think everyone agrees we don't have a watertight defence, it's nothing new. So isn't that more reason for the manager to not set up a team that's unable to hold onto the ball, leaving a weak link at the top of the tree?
  3. So to summarise, having no strikers upfront hasn't contributed to us conceding 2 goals but our defense has contributed to us not scoring more than 2 goals?
  4. I haven't seen those goals but if it's like in the past where we can't retain the ball because there's no outlet upfront, then maybe it could be the reason.
  5. He's started a match with a midfielder upfront, one striker in midfield and the other two on the bench.
  6. Got to blame the manager for this one, took one look at the line up and knew it would be a difficult game. Any idea why Graham has been dropped?
  7. If he believes that much in Brereton he should be playing him when Graham isn't up to it. Then bring Graham on as sub so he hasn't got a full shift to do. Disappointing to see him not start with one proper striker on the pitch.
  8. I'm glad to see Rovers are finally opening their doors back to genuine fans who care about the club, instead of the paranoid mess it was under Kean and Anderson. I remember the day when stadium manager John Newsham approached me and told me aggressively we were "taking the piss" (actual words during working hours), then asked to see my season ticket which I did to his surprise. "Are you with that BRFCS." He then asked, to which we replied no, but we did have permission to film around the ground. "Not by me you haven't." Then he still told us rather rudely to move away from the stadium by literally ten paces. We did so and remained polite, then he came to the Darwen End car park and started revving his car engine so we couldn't record whilst glaring through the window. Back in the Jack Walker days if you were around Ewood with a camera even without permission they'd ask you what you were up to and invite you in to get some interiors as it was all good for the community. As a student we asked if we could film some exteriors of the stadium and they invited us in, and later sorting out interviews with players. They'd go out of their way to get people through the doors - Burnley were like that (no idea what they are like now), Everton and Accy Stanley are still like that. So this is a big step forward.
  9. I make less risky decisions playing football management sims.
  10. I'm not saying you're wrong but for a club in our position that's mental.
  11. 3-1 though... You wouldn't have thought it at half time.
  12. That's why we needed a stronger squad and not gamble with that £6m on one luxury player (who isn't looking particularly luxurious).
  13. Two factors changed this game, players got complacent (and I'd argue manager too) and Swansea have had a shedload of luck.
  14. Bollocks. Never seen a more flattered team than Swansea.
  15. Thrown away three points, no way we're getting back into this. Graham was probably knackered but a knackered Graham is far better than an out of position Brereton. And what's happened to the defence?!?! Night and day!
  16. Silly passes, turning our attack into their attack. This is why we needed a player that could hold the ball up to replace Graham when needs be, not "someone for the future".
  17. We've gone to pot. Good half other with, sh*t half well underway.
