  1. It's the same in all things tribal, football, politics, games consoles, you always get a subservient amount of people who will take anything from their betters. They are a weird bunch. Someone on Facebook recently posted on the Rovers post match report that as fans we should support the club and all things within it, without question. That's what a supporter is, he said. If you don't support the manager, or the players or someone at the club then you aren't a supporter so you should stop following the club.
  2. A manager with a plan, who can organise a defense and play players in their most suited positions. And not waste ridiculous amounts of money. Is that too much to ask in 2021?
  3. None of the players are playing well at the moment. He puts Dack on the bench and the player that takes his place also will be being criticised post-match, guaranteed. It's strange having almost an entire team out of form at once. There's only one constant in all of this, the manager. Perhaps if he played the likes of Gallagher, Dack, Rothwell, Elliott in their preferred positions it would be a step in the right direction and we could make a decent judgement about their fitness and form. As it is none of them look comfortable. It's not gone unnoticed that players who are performing well are either being benched or playing out of position a couple of games later. The manager has to take some blame for out of form players.
  4. "Who is that player? Would make a great wide player!" Tony Mowbray, Summer 2019.
  5. Anyone remember the days when players only played out of position when there were injuries? Tony does it for fun.
  6. Team is a mess of ludicrous ideas, another defeat.
  7. In his interview he said it was cold 😳
  8. I see it a bit differently than that. He's good out wide but in the middle he's lost. Mowbray should have known this within 10-15 mins of him playing there and switched him back, but no he had Gallagher (who naturally should be in the middle) where Elliot should have been and Armstrong on the left who had scored 16 goals up to that point. Utterly nonsense management that almost everyone else and their blind dog could see from a mile. Expecting a 17 year old to do that job, and sacrificing other more capable players in that position is idiocy on an epic scale.
  9. He spent £5m on him too, managers have been sacked for less.
  10. I've no doubt he's safe but I'd say signing players is more likely to lead to a sacking rather than preventing it. We've got worse!
  11. It'd be like replacing Barry Chuckle with Paul Chuckle.
  12. If this is true and Mowbray doesn't get wise fast, it's going to end very badly. There's still a lot of good will for Mowbray at the moment but that won't last if this inconsistency continues and lose our best players due to lack of progress. No manager should be "well protected", it's certainly no incentive to achieve anything.
  13. You have to wonder if they even know they can get a big pile of cash for getting in the PL.
  14. And at the helm of it is a laid back div talking about journeys.
  15. Preferably with a baseball bat after the constant cock ups he makes us endure.
  16. If we were relying on Gallagher and Brereton to score goals we'd be in a relegation fight as there'd be no sod scoring goals. Quite worrying really as Armstrong going is a real possibility and all the owners will see is that we have £5m and £7m forwards, so we're covered if anyone leaves.
  17. I doubt a decent manager would have spent £5m on him. Not sure about 10-15 goals but he's definitely being mis-managed.
  18. Had some chilly times at the top (and bottom) of the Blackburn End on occasion. A real wind trap.
  19. They see the manager as a purely autonomous task. I'm surprised they haven't just promoted one of their Venkys XPRS restaurant managers.
  20. I'd swap Gallagher for a decent manager in a heart beat. Tbh I'd swap Gallagher for a tin of spam.
  21. It's nice he's good at something as he was a woeful player. Once scored a cracking goal though.
  22. At least he'd leave us with something to cheer about.
  23. Course he wouldn't but if Venkys had any sense they'd throw a lot of money at a good manager, as the returns are huge. Right now they are just throwing a lot of money at nothing with zero return.
  24. Most of what Mowbray does is alien so perhaps we already have.
