  1. Douglas in a position to cross, passes it backwards, we lose the ball. Sums us up.
  2. Why has he replaced the entire midfield?! Just Gallagher for Dolan would have done for now. Fecks sake.
  3. It's not his game though, he's breaking things up. If you want to blame anyone for the passing it's the rest of the team but it's more like forward back forward back back forward shit ball/cross. Hopefully the league will take pity on us and start awarding points for possession.
  4. Why didn't we cross the ball then? Forward, forward, backward, backward, forward, forward, backward, backward, even more backward, forward, shit cross, lose the ball.
  5. Bloody rubbish, then what was Douglas doing?
  6. I thought it more demonstrated how Mowbray got the team selection hopelessly wrong. Douglas was terrible. He doesn't look match fit and perhaps well past it for this league.
  7. He bought him for Armstrong's position but because Armstrong now can't be dropped due to sheer amount of goals scored, he's nowhere to put his £5m man. So he just shoves him out there and hopes for the best. I truly believe it's as simple as that. If Armstrong hadn't have scored all those goals I have no doubt he'd be out wide.
  8. Needs to start playing his best players. Putting Buckley in and keeping Gallagher on for almost an entire match was obviously not working. Especially against these lower league teams. Keep Trybull in the team he breaks up play. Holtby may be an inconsistent sod but he's always capable of getting about and putting a ball in. And Dolan replaces Brereton as a nuisance which takes a defender off Armstrong. Also Downing made a difference! Thought he played well.
  9. From feeling utter despair to joy. But how awful were they? Worst I've seen them play this season. What was Mowbray playing at with that team selection?
  10. This is really poor, the worst I've seen them for a long time. Why is he still persisting with Gallagher on the wing!
  11. Even as a striker he's not great, and he expects him to do a job as a wide man. I'm sure we could have purchased a decent wide player for £5m.
  12. Why didn't he buy a wide player if he wanted to play this way? Same old same old int'it. Douglas terrible again.
  13. How would I know if someone didn't inform me? Some of us have lives beyond football, especially at the moment. I can just about watch the games at the moment.
  14. Didn't realise he was out for the season, that's a massive pisser.
  15. Rotherham (H) - Win Stoke (A) - Lose Sheff Wed (H) - Win Huddersfield (A) Lose Birmingham (A) Draw
  16. I'd give Wharton a run, he's looked good from what I've seen. It'd be great if Mowbray could bring in a good centre half in January but I won't hold my breath.
  17. This statement should be bolted to the site header.
  18. We'll win this because Mowbray will have to put a shift in after 1 point in 9.
  19. Someone once said if games were 45 minutes we'd be up near the top and they were right. We play when we want and switch off randomly, a sure sign of a lack of pressure in the dressing room and the manager having no pressure himself. It's interesting how suddently we'll get a very good performance after a bad run leading to a mini spell where we look capable of challenging, then we'll go back to square one. Mowbray only seems to wake up and do anything if it looks like he's losing face. Up till then he's laid back and happy to let things slide, till he has to put a shift in and then get the team motivated again to stay out of the headlines.
  20. Nah we'll scrape one, lose a couple due to a stupid team selection or terrible defending and draw one. And that's all he needs to do.
  21. Someone who can hire and implement a decent defence.
