A manager that is clearly out of his depth with a squad full of injuries and relying on players who are past it, still learning this league or not good enough for it. Another answer is that they created those debts/costs in the first place. Most of that money was to cover up for their disaster of a takeover when they brought in that prick of an agent and everyone else was undermined and left.

Some aren't playing for him. Some aren't playing for the club. Some can't play for him, because they aren't good enough. He's the wrong manager for this team at this time which just underlines how two men, Waggott and Suhail, should be nowhere near running a football club.

I thought Gueye was awful though he did put a shift in, but Woodrow was so bad that anyone with working legs would have been an improvement.
