  1. I don't think they are good enough to play any system. Too many out of form, young, or knackered lads out there expected to play too many minutes each game. No recognized strikers. A cheap defence and goalie. As ordered by the CEO as the public face of the owners... Buy cheap or preferably free, sell any assets, and hang on in this league.
  2. Looking at the slow motion replay it looks even worse. I was hoping LW would get better but he's looking very poor.
  3. He should have been benched several games ago. Why is he trying to do a tricky back heel when he's got an easy option? Probably because he's 20 year old and there's no one on the pitch to tell him to fucking sort himself out.
  4. A stupid pass to Wharton putting him under pressure ends in a decent opportunity for Hudds. Typical.
  5. We look stretched thin as usual. Too many players on the pitch that would be benched otherwise. Also many of the benched players there due to making up the numbers rather than merit.
  6. He was exposed, but I'm talking about his entire time here not just yesterday. To be fair we shouldn't be playing a rookie keeper. The lad is 24, new to the Championship and to the team. Normally he'd be back up keeper.
  7. Interesting to see people saying Ennis was well off it. Obviously he's not fully match fit but I thought we suffered when he went off.
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if he's been signed off the strength of a highlight reel. He pulls off some good saves but then follows it up with several blunders.
  9. I agree with Wahlstedt being a liability, but you can't blame the other players for this. They worked hard, were the better team for most of the game. We sadly have no one on the bench to change things up and no experience to see us through games. Their fresh legs were a massive difference. If only Venkys had listened when we needed experience and another striker. And replaced Kaminski with a proper goalkeeper instead of going for another budget option.
  10. They had a decent bench, we didn't and that's the difference. Robbed.
  11. Poor, but Watford brought on the Cavalry. We brought on a 20 year old attacker and a 21 year old defender. Thanks Venkys.
  12. I'd prefer us to do look at L1/L2 than bring in unknowns who have rarely played. Preferably players that haven't had injury/fitness issues.
  13. Players always get better when they aren't playing and when we're shopping on such an unrealisticly low budget, fans should manage their expectations accordingly. As for the Walker Trust comment, I'm not sure what you're trying to say. I should be worried about Venkys selling because we'll end up with worse? You responded to me twice by the way so I thought I'd already replied to your comment.
  14. If he did go there he doesn't tend to start off too badly. So hopefully he doesn't go there. But a year or two later it'll be hilarious.
  15. You're paying for all of it Rigger, from enjoying a goal scored to Waggott's ineptitude, and not just in money. I feel like I've wasted 13 years hoping that they'd either come to their senses or give up and go.
  16. "first and foremost, to stay in the league and develop players.” CEO, Blackburn Rovers I'm more concerned with that, short and long term.
  17. I think we're damned if we do and damned if we don't. We'll strike lucky every so often with a win or two, but it's time to just admit we have a mid/lower league squad. Every player I've seen play up front this season has come up short, so I can't imagine what they must like like in training where they are looking to impress. Actually I imagine they'll look like a crock, a kid and a random lad plucked from German obscurity.
  18. When the CEO writes us off before the season starts, expect that to filter down. This goes back to the end of last season when coaches and players knew what was going on before we did.
