  1. Glad to see that JRC is benched. Pears being in goal is unforgiveable with all the time they've had for a replacement. Hopefully no silly mistakes but with that defence and goalie it's always a possibility. Starting Beck reminds me of Mola the last time, which is a shame for the lad as I'm sure he can't be as bad as that. A bit disappointed we didn't bring in another striker for this fixture. We still look light. Gueye is a bully and good provider, but doesn't look much of a finisher, Yuki is on the bench, Dolan and the rest don't score enough. And we're still pedestrian on the wings.
  2. If we'd have signed another decent striker and CB I'd be believing we could compete for promotion as the squad would have looked strong. Maybe we'll address that in January. Also a big question mark over the keeper. Maybe we could have invested more as we're desperate for talent in that dept. Hopefully he's much better than Leo and Pears.
  3. He's an awful player. I think some fans need to be apologetic about him as he's a nice lad. And possibly because we've forgot what a real CF is.
  4. Poku not a right winger? Aasgaard can play on the left. We won't get either.
  5. Couldn't help but read that with this voice.
  6. Just been told that Burnley fans think we're all pissed off we didn't get Dembele. BRFCS is raging. ???
  7. I think it's more likely that this is their biggest marquee signing in a while and they are going to make a big deal out of promoting it.
  8. If they'd made a big signing with all the money they've made + these signings, maybe. Like for example Stansfield. That would be a bigger statement of intent rather than Waggott's "top 10" finish goal.
  9. Brendan Rodgers failed in England. It happens 🤷‍♂️
  10. If we'd just played how we'd played in previous matches it probably wouldn't have turned out as bad as it did. He completely changed the formation, personnel and way we played for that one match.
  11. Doesn't score many but when he does they seem to be absolute crackers.
  12. That first one against the Dingles would be nice.
  13. Did that truckload of horseshit not leave with Greg Broughton?
  14. I was hoping Doak would be on his way till Nixon said LW.
  15. Vale going to Motherwell is a squad booster in itself.
  16. Comparable to Mount Olympus according to Norse mythology.
  17. Aasgaard, but he's more of an attacking midfielder.
  18. Moran played well for us at the beginning of the season then quickly became a passenger, passing to invisible men or the opposition. He could make a good player though if he toughened up.
  19. Preferable to get linked to players like this than what we were linked to when Broughton was DOF.
  20. No matter how badly they are off, we still have a defence and goalie that concedes at least 2 goals per game. And a CEO who decided to rectify it by signing two defenders at the ages of 33 (soon to be 34) and 37. So I'll be delighted if we win thanks to our new exciting frontline, but it won't be a surprise if we lose thanks to us being as leaky as a second hand rubber johnny.
  21. Yep. They've took the piss out of us for Venkys for years. Fit and proper, it's happening to them now. Two previously well ran clubs ran into the ground by foreign owners who haven't a clue about English football.
  22. And they still aren't as bad as Venkys... Yet.
  23. I think yesterdays match showed us that if we're ever having to rely on Vale we're in the shit. It's a shame we have such terrible owners because Stansfield at 21 years old would have been brilliant investment.
