Our overall play suffers when he gets subbed off.

I'm behind on the Poku chatter. Is there a real chance we'll get him or is it just speculation? He seems a good replacement for Szmodics from the little I've seen.

The defence is going to let us down this season. As well as a number 1 goalie we still need a couple of defenders in my opinion. Eustace must know he's got no leaders at the back and a lack of quality.

I'd agree with that. Very disappointing to see a decent performance let down by individual errors. Norwich's manager must be sniffing glue if he thought their performance deserved 3 points.

He miscontrolled it because he shot it at him. And in any case even if he did call for it, it was up to Pears to decide whether it was risky or not considering he was the only available man under any kind of pressure. He got it wrong.

There was only Tronstad under any kind of pressure. Before Pears put his foot to the ball their player was running in on Tronstad. Everyone watching read it except for Pears. The second one (screen grab 2) was worse when he passed it straight to one of theirs right next to the goal. Not on him, but I thought he could have done better for their first goal. He just sort of went down to his knees with one arm limply out. His other mistakes aren't in the highlights. The other defenders didn't cover themselves in glory either.

Explain how Pears isn't in the wrong here.

He was awful all game. Kept passing the ball out gifting a chance to the opposition several times. Should have done better for both goals. Watching the game I didn't feel Norwich were really in it, that is until Brittain's stupid mistake. We looked lethargic after the break but that first goal really gave Norwich a boost and the belief to try and win it. Norwich looked defeated up till that point, for however knackered we looked. 2 points lost overall.

That Cardiff keeper showed us the future if we have Pears in the net. More of a gift than the one Brittain gave Norwich. Be nice if an opposition keeper would throw one in for us sometime.

Yep unfair that, we played some good stuff until we lagged in the second half, then Brittain gave them a power up. And let's not forget they've just given away his best player. Can't be easy managing this club.

Some didn't watch at all if they think (a) Brittain redeemed himself, and (b) Norwich were any good.

I'm convinced that a lot of our fans have forgotten what a proper fullback is. Similar to them forgetting what a proper number 9 is, then... "holy shit what a revelation big Mak is." It'll be the same when we sign a fullback that can defend.
