  1. At you yes. Always sunshine on a rainy day.
  2. Absolutely no chance of anyone doing any better with that squad and especially the lot behind the scenes constantly interfering or bungling it up.
  3. He set his stall out from the beginning. The aim is to stay up and develop players. I watched a Rovers B team masquerading as the first team today. We’ve banked money at the cost of a relegation battle.
  4. We get what they’ll pay buttons for.
  5. Luton had been building steadily for years. When they were promoted they had two good centre forwards and a settled team. In short, they weren’t dickheads.
  6. Exactly. Their model is at complete odds with their budget, or lack of. Absolute cretins with a football club for a toy. Just there to vomit their nonsense over and stomp into the ground.
  7. More thoughts from the goldfish bowl.
  8. Someone who in a few months will have lost it too.
  9. I know who the culprits are. Venkys out. Keep bringing in substandard players and this is what you get.
  10. Playing better defensively but we still look like a team short of a centre forward, and now worse off in midfield. Moran poor, and if only we could have swapped Gallagher for a decent CF and brought in someone with pace.
  11. Chrisene needs to work on his shooting. Should be hitting the target🤦‍♂️
  12. That's what I was saying, now. But it worked that way when Shebby was here and we aren't exactly leaps ahead of those total basket case days.
  13. Nah, he clearly struggled to keep up in his first full year. In his first half year we didn't even have him due to a bizarre deal which meant we bought a player, needed the player, but let his old club keep him. He's not brilliant now, but he's better than he was. Still struggles in this league though.
  14. Much different circumstances, but they did the same with Kean. It wasn't the MD though, it was the owners themselves sending Shebby in. The shelf-meister wanted him to stay. So it wouldn't surprise me. But I have to be honest, this time I think they are just shameless and incompetent.
  15. Is this one? What's the shape of the birthmark on Balaji's arse?
  16. More like Mick Foley than Shirley Crabtree.
  17. I've noticed that there are plenty of Venky friendly Rovers supporters that live far away from Blackburn. Also African fans piping up too, usually wearing a Liverpool shirt on their profile. Some of them get player names wrong, some of them even get the games/match time wrong. I saw someone from down South claim that Tony Gayle was older than McFadzean when he won a Premier League title winners medal. I'm not trying to fuel any conspiracies, but I do think social media allows people to pipe in with the merest passing interest. Or just bored wankers having a bit of fun. Any of us could join the page any other club of any other sport in any other country and do the same. Wouldn't have happened 20 years ago. Those "fans" aren't invested enough to join up to BRFCS. Strange times.
  18. JamieUK was told by someone JDT was going to, but by his response it looks like that wasn't true.
  19. I'm baffled. How anyone can think the owners are brilliant? I remember during the Kean days you'd get the odd nutjob, but most fans at least accepted they were terrible owners even if they weren't vocal about it. They also accepted that others were more vocal about it. Maybe people who are too young to remember those days could think this is how a club should be ran, but I'm seeing older people defending them. When you've got Burnley fans saying Venkys Forever, you'd think that would at least make them question their beliefs. Find me a Burnley fan that's ever said Jack Walker forever.
  20. With no money we'll be appointing from within, wouldn't we?
  21. Don't worry, I'd never employ you. The conditions he's working under are unnacceptable aren't they? I didn't realise it needed to be a warzone to accept that or I'd have tempered my words to make it more understandable. Bit of an over-reaction for someone who dislikes over-reactions by the way! He has players taken away from him that he feels he requires, then not adequately replaced. He requests signings and doesn't get them. We're on the verge of signing players then either due to ineptitude or the budget being cut, it doesn't happen, or the player is downgraded to a loan. The owners personal problems are impacting the club. He has several people at the club all pulling in different directions. When he started he was told we were building a side capable of mounting a promotion push. With all that considered, I'd say he's working under unnacceptable conditions to win football matches. Not fight a war, just to avoid any confusion.
  22. Yes he stuck with it over the O'Brien fiasco/not bringing in a striker last January.
  23. If he's been assured of that then he's entitled to be a bit miffed, along with the rest of it.
  24. You ask if he's been living under a rock, but you seem like you're living on a different planet if you think the conditions he's working under are acceptable. He said the other day that Wharton going is a possibility so I doubt that's it. It'll be that we've brought in a crocked 32 year old and a kid who failed at Coventry to replace him. The striker we've brought in won't be ready to play for 2-3 weeks, and we've spent barely anything. All the frustration leads back to pune, who seem nonchalant about our plight. So I don't blame him for being despondent or wants to leave. I'm glad he's arrogant, I'd rather that than a yes man like Bowyer or even worse, Coyle. And both of those had it better than JDT.
