  1. The biggest frustration is that it's easy to see how we'd dominate teams if we had a bit of investment because for long periods we are very organised. Then we'll fall apart because of a lack of experience, depth or goals. I can't blame the manager or players for this tbh. Kids will always make mistakes, that's why managers rarely start them till they are ready. Venkys have been the only constant during this prolonged dark period. They did the same when they appointed Lambert. Then randomly gave money to Mowbray who said the team wasn't ready for promotion. Fucking idiots.
  2. Probably because we have no depth. Same reason Wharton stayed on beyond an hour.
  3. Should have scored too. He’s been poor since the internationals.
  4. Not having a striker doesn’t help as oppo managers know we get chances but struggle to score.
  5. Let’s be fair, the referee allowed that to happen. If he’s not going to book him for constant deliberate fouling he’ll keep doing it.
  6. When Markanday came on I said he wasn’t the player for this game and he proved it. But realistically, who on our bench was? The delivery into the box from them could have been avoided by Markanday taking one for the team but he just allowed it to happen. Had it been the other way round one of theirs would have been in the back of them.
  7. Yep, he gave away possession under no pressure. So frustrating and easily avoided. Kids stuff because he’s a kid.
  8. One thing I’ll give Preston and their manager credit for. They never stop and despite being shit never stop believing. Rovers seem to stop believing after the 12th shot is off target.
  9. There we go, Preston win their cup final.
  10. He needs to come off after 60. He rarely does anything beyond that.
  11. I wasn’t wrong. I knew it, their manager knew it, everyone knew it.
  12. That all came from Adam Wharton giving the ball away cheaply. But ffs, Markanday could have fouled that lad who put the ball in. We shouldn’t be relying on the likes of Markanday. Another 3 points lost to a poor team. Same with Hull, same with Plymouth… etc
  13. Would love to be positive but I’ve seen it all before.
  14. We needed a striker to replace Szmod tonight, he looks tired. I reckon he’s carrying an injury but who else do we have?
  15. As I said before, Preston didn’t deserve the 3 points against a poor Coventry. They’ve upped their game tonight, still crap yet still winning. We could do with a bit of that luck.
  16. The better team losing, so frustrating. Hit the bar twice, Preston resorting to fouling out of frustration yet 1-0 down after a killer pass that was a result of their player slipping on his arse. But what a difference a striker would have made to this game. Sig should have scored though. It’s another terrible miss. I’ve read this script several times before this season. 3 points lost despite outplaying the other team. Unless someone can come up with a bit of magic.
  17. So a soft pen did decide where the 3 points went then. It looked like your player was one on one with the keeper completely missed the goal so threw himself on the ground after feeling Coventry's defenders head touch the back of his leg (who'd fallen arse over tit on the wet pitch). Coventry were poor though.
  18. What do you think about Lowe? Preston fans don't seem to like him generally.
  19. Wasn’t a soft penalty the decider?
  20. And we've got the top goalscorer in the league, something many seem to forget. We needed someone to step into those shoes and Szmod has. If I was a Preston fan it'd be preying on my mind.
  21. Scott got the ball, but I agree on Kaminski. Stupid decision to let him go. Tronstad is a lot more disciplined than Travis but let's not take anything away from him, he was really good when he came on today and dug in.
  22. I think they've only lost one at home.
  23. I think we'll struggle with a makeshift defence and JRC out but Preston got a dodgy pen to get their 3 points yesterday and haven't been great recently. We've also got the league's top scorer in our team too. I hope he gets a hat-trick.
