For me we looked worse off when Travis came on, the massive gap between defence and forwards returned.
-
I can't see it, he looks genuinely gutted in the dugout.
-
We didn't against Coventry, and lost 1-0 because Szmodics had to keep dropping back to help out in midfield and the rest of them couldn't score in a Mancunian back alley brothel.

Aka, they were told by a spiv at a gathering that there was a club going that they could pick up cheap where they could breed footballers like chickens, and sell them on for big fees. -

Okay, better than Pears and the defence was better organised. -
Yes they couldn't even pay Buckley.

I think this is the season when the thread we've been dangling on, snaps. You can't keep diminishing the playing staff, losing millions, keeping inept executives on and having absent owners without it eventually all breaking down. -

It has but prior to this evening we've scored in every match bar one. We either defend better and hope for a 0-0, or to nick a goal and take all 3 points, or we go all out attack have loads of chances and hopefully score more than the opposition (and usually don't). That's the trouble with having no clinical strikers, you need to throw everything forward all match and risk getting caught on the break. Players like Szmodics will score playing like that but tonight he was helping out a lot in midfield. -
There's no one who can fire him at Ewood, which leaves Venkys, who couldn't care less and are the real problem.

Our defending was better tonight, it was the attack that let us down. -

There was a closer slow motion shot of their keeper not having it in his hands when Moran nicked it from him. Keeper didn't even try, he got sloppy and was waiting for it to go in his hands. The same ref has given that keeper the benefit of the doubt in the last two games against us. And he was allowing it at first till the linesman got involved, who was awful all match. -

We were a lot less cavalier tonight. -

Haha, TM who had millions to spend and decided we shouldn't play with a striker. The problem will always be Venkys. They started the rot and it's gradually gotten worse. I've no doubt they'll take us down to L1 again. -

Same has been said about every manager under Venkys, who are the only constant. -

Not blaming the thin squad and lack of goalscorers is to absolve Venkys and Waggott. Fuck that, it's on them. And he did change his strategy this evening. Without the all out attack for 90 minutes we scored feck all. -

And when JDT was appointed by Broughton, Waggott knew that soon after we weren't going to have a pot to piss in. That's what you get when the CEO doesn't communicate with his staff, doesn't know much about football, and doesn't really care anyway. -

The kick in the balls is that the defence looked better with Hill in and Pickering out. We looked better defensively without Travis too. -

14 shots and had one more on target than Coventry. We have a hopeless set of forwards. How is the disallowed goal the correct decision? Referee gave it then took it back after their fans kicked off, then he talked to the linesman who was further away, as well as poor all game, missing a foul on JRC that was right in front of him. Their goalie didn't look as if he had hands on it when Moran kicked it. -

A desperate signing due to the money situation. -

The performance has actually been okay tonight, not great but better. No one to put the ball in the net. Too many touches/passes in the final third. No one with a strikers instinct. Was a good strike from Coventry that sealed it, or rather the rebound. -

Amazed at some of the comments on here. Obviously not watching the game. It was a good strike, a follow up and a dodgy referee decision. The fact we are shit upfront and Siggurdson missed a one on one isn't on the manager.
