  1. It's always about the money. He's been offered more at Derby. With that knowledge he tried to negotiate an improved contract. We said no. So he's off to earn more money. He's not gone to Derby because he played 60 games for them. He's not gone because he is an hour closer to home. He's not gone because they will include him in weekly meetings with the owners. He's not gone because he's got a transfer war chest. Hes not gone for 25k fans at home. He's not gone for a better league position. He's not gone for the clubs, 3rd from bottom, lose 7 on the bounce revised vision. So don't preach loyalty, honesty, family, togetherness, team spirit and harmony for twelve twatting months when it's all about the dough. We are grown ups. We also need money. Just tell the fucking truth and go and earn your coin. He's doesn't give a fuck about Derby. He doesn't give a fuck about Rovers. He's gone to grab a bag. And now, instead of all the fucking useless names of out of work nobodies and chancers being mentioned on here why don't we head hunt fifteen league places above us? Or get Souness or Allardyce in for four months to put the fear of God into our opposition, rivals and players? Well we all know why. Because, whilst at long last we have proper professional men representing our efforts on the pitch, we have a bunch of snivelling wankers representing our efforts off the pitch. Genuine fucking self absorbed low life. Not one of them comes out of this with any credit. Spent a lot of time away from family John? I thought you were better than that. You knew where fucking Blackburn was twelve months ago. Nowt to do with an extra 20k a month is it pal? Make Travis player manager. Turn a negative into a positive. Unite the players. Unify the fans. Rock the football pyramid. Them against us. If we are going to fail let's fail with one of our own in charge. But no. We are too thick to turn a problem into an opportunity. Ryan fucking Lowe? Rob twatting Edwards? Steve fucking Cooper? Give me fucking strength.
  2. 🤣🤣 Thanks. You could see I was struggling.
  3. I'm still confused Paul. Do you mean Szmodics?
  4. You have spectacularly missed the point with your 'jog on' post. Eustace is simply a pawn in the game. He's not selfishly leaving for money, or a better opportunity. He's leaving for decency, honesty and transparency. He's protecting his own sanity and professional reputation. Plus he's going somewhere he is really wanted, knows he will be supported financially and emotionally and as an added benefit he is also closer to home. Your Rob Edwards suggestion is a tad weird as well. He's had Luton marooned at the bottom of the Championship all year, even though the club were amongst the favourites and flush with money. That takes some doing. Reminiscent of the Rovers when we were relegated.
  5. Thsnks for that but I thought that was prior to player trading of circa 35 million? Hence circa 60 million in actual losses?
  6. Yup. You need to post that everytime a new name is mentioned. Venkys Out. Nothing else matters.
  7. I think you are a tad confused as to the scale of our yearly losses. To clarify, the entire fees garnered from the sale of Wharton and Sammie, do not cover our anticipated trading losses over a two year period. We have never been self sufficient even going back to Uncle Jack and the Walker Trust.l years. Absolutely cloud cuckoo land thinking we can be anything like self sufficient in the Championship by selling an academy player or two. Taking into account all player sales, the owners have still lost circa 60 million in the last six or seven years.
  8. Some terrible names are being nentioned. Lowe, O'Neil, now Dyche. It's really depressing.
  9. Simply put, Eustace is an ambitous young manager who prior to Xmas was faced with run of games that included the top four, had a physically tired and stretched squad, a lot of players injured or playing in pain and desperately needed fast support from above to help in his hour of need. It did not happen. Our position of strength has been eroded and i doubt he now believes we will achieve the play offs. He's been looking tired the last few weeks. He's tried his bollocks off. They all have. We are in a far better position now than when he came. Let him go nearer his family. He's done well.
  10. Losing seven on the bounce suggests to me they are in freefall and aren't very good at football and don't have very good football players. I'll check my head. You check the form guide.
  11. Yes Leonard. That's certainly how it's looking just now. Especially if Eustace leaves. There is however a resilience and team spirit within the group that offers a ray of hope.
  12. Make a dickhead comment get a dickhead reply.
  13. Oh. Silly me. I thought it ended Feb 28th, unless it's a leap year.
  14. Seriously tarnished? They had lost seven on the bounce before today. He'll be expected to go down and revered if they stay up. I can't remember Rovers losing seven on the bounce in all the years I've been supporting. That is seriously shit.
  15. All very good points. I'm neither confident or pessimistic. It's all to play for and I don't know if the new lads can make a difference. For balance we have played Burnley, Sunderland. Leeds and Sheff United in that period and had a lot of injuries.
  16. We have won 2 out of the last 11. If we win 5, lose 5 and draw 5 of the next 15, Eustace will then have 7 wins from 26 played. Rovers in mid table and no one impressed with Eustace in the summer. If he goes now, he got Birmingham into 6th, kept us up, sold Sammie and then got us into 6th. If I was him I'd go while my stock was very high. If he can keep Derby up, he's even more attractive to clubs in the summer. If he doesn't, it's not his responsibility and he can lead a promotion charge next year with one of the divisions favourites. If we had pushed the boat out, got him what he requested early in January and he believed the play offs were achievable, he'd be more likely to stay. As it is, I think it's a very easy decision to leave.
  17. I don't think Jim is responsible for us losing. I don't think you are responsible for the January transfer window. Everyone keeps bleating about us not being good enough for the top top six. Yet we are 6th and it's now February.
  18. Maybe something to do with Derby? Serves us right if he scarpers. Whilst I understand commercial reality, us being in the play offs all year was good enough reason to gamble on this manager and squad. Bigger money, spent earlier, nay have given us a few points breathing space between 4th and 6th. Armstrong scores today for West Brom for example.
  19. I get page not found if I click on the above link. Two rovers shirts then the not found message. I was also strugging to get the homepage but that seems better now. Some usernames were showing page not found. Some of my own account info I couldn't reach. But all of the above seems to be good now. On the subject of the design, layout and functionality of the site it is so much better than the vast majority of other fan sites I visit. Genuinely. That is not me being biased. Commercially it may help if the range of products available in the shop were widened and the support / subscribe information was a bit more in your face. Meanwhile I sell a product range, if these were somehow promoted to site members successfully I would happily donate an agreed percentage to.this site. Maybe create a commercial section were users can advertise their products and services and then once work/ money has changed hands the site could benefit from the lead generation? Brfcs.com went down for me for a couple of days prior to North End. I couldn't access the home page and had to find links embedded within the forum to view. I missed the site.
  20. Good result for Millwall at Leeds. I wonder if Leeds fans would have taken winning the FA Cup over promotion. I suspect not.
  21. Possibly, I just think the owners might receive an offer they could stomach if promoted and cut their losses. But nothing makes sense in Venkys Rover land so who truly knows.
  22. Possibly but i think we getting to crunch time. I might be wrong, but nothing lasts forever.
