best i've felt since one fine day at old trafford Seeing the brum fans faces so upset makes my day, hopefully i'll be seeing my mates later to rub it in Great finish by bellers from a great pass by MGP. Bently looked unable to do the right wing job and emerton did alot better when he came on. A good game for dickers, solid penalty. Good game all around, not the best but as vs WBA its the result that matters! 2-0 to the bully boys and the big club! -

Brum's 3rd strip one then if thats the case. For us i believe its the yellow of last season and for them the red one that only sold about 500! But who knows, normally teams sort it out so the home team keeps the home strip on! From reports and my brummie mates dunn won't figure and julian gray is 50/50. For the first time also all 3 i have spoke to have admitted they expect us to win, don't know if that is good or bad -
From what i understood the rule means sky can only show 1 in 5 games now and that either NTL, ITV or 5 will get the others. However if they gang up on sky an dbid for the games they could get signifcant amounts of games to spread between them. Either way Sky won't have 100% of games which could be bad for clubs in that they might not get the same amounts of money that sky pay for exclusive deals and also for fans if NTL get it you cant watch it all through a sky or ntl system and have to have both to see all the live games!

I would say that 3 out of his 6 yellows this season have been gained from his reputation and not for the challanges involved. Ref's pick on him, like they did against dickov for kicking the ball away in the Carling Cup, but in similar incidents in the prem against rovers, no action has been taken against the offending players! -

With the brummies losing today i feel even more confident we will add to our victorys against them in the premiership. Only player who looked a threat for them today was dunn and maybe that says everything you need to know! If bellamy is back i can see us knocking in a few, without him it will be close winning by the odd goal in 3. -
Best £7.50 i ever spent!

from the view behind cisse's shot brad couldn't see the ball from cisse's feet, which makes the shot very hard to save. He should have moved across when the kick was tapped, but i'm not sure he could see that had happened straight away. He also spilled Riise's shot late on that swung in the air. But he also made 2 or 3 very good saves that weren't world class but kept us in the game, which is what you want. Can't really blame brad for losing the game today. That pleasure is all Mr Halsey's edit: rock steady that picture just shows it was a foul, which most people agree with. It's the placing of the players and foul that are questionable, with nelsen covering, it being out of the box and cisse running away from the goal it was very very very harsh! -

1-0 to the referee. We deserved a point for the solid performance, only denied by 1 of his many pathetic and dsigracefully biased decisions. Even down to his bookings, he favoured liverpool. Maybe he has rovers for the bad boys or liverpool for the league. An FA investigation should be on the cards, but as we aren't manyoo it will not be. Screwed again by the powers that be, when will the madness end and sane ref's (like mr clatternburg ) be appointed. Roll on next saturday and the brummie boys, we'll be up for it after today! -

Watched the first half and the standard of mr halsey's decisions have been abysmal beyond belief. He even managed to point to the penalty spot when the assistant ref signalled it was outside the box. Cisse was clearly running away from goal, with very little chance of scoring and nelsen covering in the centre. A foul and a yellow for sure, the red should be overturned but that doesn't help us now! At least 2 liverpool players should be on yellows, can't see us ending the day with 10men if this pathetic ref keeps on his mission to hurt rovers and protect liverpool! On a non ref point, bentley hasn't done much and i would like to see emerton introduced for the second half, as at least he provides crosses and link up play with lucas. We could nick this if we frustrate liverpool for long enough, but on the last 15mins i can't see if being long before someone major happens! -
Have you seen crouch play? Both big wastes of money in there hay day.... Even though he is a muppet, i'd rather have davies in than crouch, but crouch just beats heskey!

43% ? yeah the guy at the top of A has 8,000 and a fan base of 25,000! Strange how all the top teams are members and seem to be high up in the organisation of it -

i'm building up my parking/bars/toilets so i have enough for when i choose to expand. But i already have 5,000 capacity and some of the top teams only have smallish stadiums! Just got 2 new RM's on frees, which i was only expecting to get one so now i have good cover in all positions to make sure i cling to my top spot for the next half of the season! -

Your team is good enough to get you into C surely! Oklahoma: that sounds awesome, how have you got so much money left? it's better to have a full stadium and high demand, than have to many seats and not not enough fans! Get a big fan base then increase slowly(is what i have been told by people).... after i had already built in 1000 -

It was very well done, how come you are in F.195. Not even going to pretend i understand how they put you in a division and how if you win the league you go up loads and if you go down there are loads of different ones you can go into. You have built up a very good team, but you have been in it a while. My mate was good at the start and got put in a hard league and now he is 2nd to bottom and has no teamspirit. Dispite him having a better set of players than me, i know beat him! It's a good little game, interesting and frustrating with funds running down too quickly -

Like the league games 3-0 win today, play the league leaders(and also undefeated team) tomorrow and my only right mid got sent off again today. So i am midfielder short of a team! My team is performing well and as i told the press, they are moving from strength to strength. I can only see big things ahead for modes98 -

erm and due to Englands 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss of course Results matter and England have done very well in the campaign to only lose a game(assuming they beat poland). The problem is the media/public ideal that the team should play to the top of there ability every game and not lose a game or let in a goal! Hopefully all the bad games are out the way, even though i do fear for wednesday. At the world cup england should turn on the style, living up to the occasion and do well! At the end fo the day who remembers the qualification, it's the tournament that matters! -
I would disagree with the amount being paid argument, as if somebody is willing to pay you that much it's there luck out and it's 100% southamptons luck that a team is stupid and desperate enough to pay £7million for the privilage of being dissapointed every week and seeing bad performances(in the prem i guess they expect it). The only reason crouch is ahead of bent(should be in) and defoe is the height factor and i'm sure there are players with much greater ability and alot less height/transfer fee/playing for a high profile club, who are english out there. in the spirit that has followed the anti-sven campaign, CROUCH OUT!

You forgot his feet, they are amazingly good for tripping him up! £7million pounds for him good old southampton!

i am of similar thinking bob. Although i rate sven as a very good manager, various things have destroyed any hopes of us doing well under his stewardship. The press are relentless in trying to destroy every england player or manager and should take alot of blame for the last 2 or 3 awful performances. Never the less the players, who should be able to turn in performances every game, just can't. The best player on the pitch today was luke young and considering all the big names we have that says about everything you need to know. On wednesday, when we qualify i would like to see sven accept defeat and walk away, but i doubt this will happen and the FA are not going to spend out the money on sacking him. So then we are left with a manager who needs to be left alone to work with the players and not attacked all the time, but this won't happen either. We are our own worst enemies! -
always said crouch is a poor striker, who considering his height can't even head the ball and todays performance just goes to prove is nowhere near good enough for england. Personally i would have had darren bent in there from the off, even taking into consideration he is a similar striker to owen. Crouch is the new heskey and i hope he follows down the same road out of the england set up!

i'm second in my league, undefeated(only 2 draws) I play the same team, every league game and arrange friendlies to give my other guys a chance! In desperate need of a RM who doesn't get himself sent off or booked every game and i only have 1 RM before you ask! Very happy settled strikeforce of youth & experiance Good solid keeper 2 good defenders and 2 improving a midfield that needs alot of work! Professional youth centre 59 days away! Looking to expand capacity when i have the funds! Long life modes98 and all who plays for him -
Easy...Easy....Easy!!! Koo - 0 to the bully boys! Can't wait for the celebration pictures! Kuqi for england
