Booked Gilberto, Fabregas, Cole (Arsenal) Flitcroft, Thompson, Mokoena, Neill (Rovers) we only got 4 bookings so its not quite as bad as all that Our tackles may have looked bad but arsenal's we're all as we were breaking forward and very uncalled for!

The people article really really annoyed me and papers calling us a disgrace does aswell. When bolton do it they get branded clever and playing to their strengths but we do it with some of our "dirty" players and we're really awful If you take the first 15mins we were the only team playing football arsenal hadn't even turned up. So how they can say we didn't play football is beyond me. It's ruined what was a great day out(except losing of course). Thinking about writing a email to the FA in respect to clear media bias against us and the probable effect it will have over future refs of our games.

Talksport was an absolute travasty of justice. Not only did they have a go at us for "only taking 15,000" but for our style of play. Clearly todd didn't lift his elbow to hurt van muppet, he was looking at the ball and in fact he showed concern when he had made contact with him. As for the challanges the only needless one was thommo's when he got booked, i felt all the others were acceptable and some of the arsenal playacting was a discgrace.

Agree with the todd thing 100%, never looked at van muppet once. However to blame lucas for any of those goals is obsurb and you seem to be jumping on the "oh lets blame lucas for everything" band wagon. Having watched the last couple of games every little mistake lucas makes he gets singled out for, yet there are players out there giving the ball/needless freekicks away that cost us. (ie. Tommo today). If anybody is to blame for the first goal its thommo for giving away the freekick when it didn't need to be done. Nelson may have been able to get a better connection or put off toure but it all stemmed from the freekick. How can you blame lucas for van muppets goals, its just pure skill from teh guy to create the scoring chances and to go with that spraky pushing us forward to try and get in the game. Have to say once we went 1-0 behind, we never were in the game and needed the edge of a striker who can score! Theres always Next Year At Wembley!!!!!!! & its no neh never!!!!

I think todd has developed past the "dirty" player into a clever defender. Reading the game well and knowing where the boundarys are and pushing the ref to them. There aren't many good defenders around who don't push, tackle hard, etc. Even rio has that in his game. There are more skillful players but being a defender is about stopping the opposition scoring and trying not to get booked/sent off as a bi-product. Just looking at saturdays game from the organisational point of view, when todd came off we fell to pieces at times, whereas in the firsthalf we seemed quite solid.

Thought lucas had a very good game today. Todd and Nelsen to blame for the goal, neither took the marking of van persie and one of them should have!(probally nelsen). Not a bad game, just very frustrating! Didn't think poll had a good game to say the least and reyes holding his head when lucas hit in on the chest to get him booked was a joke! Can't help but think what might have been if we had put stead on at some point.

According to the AA website i am 124.9miles away and it'll take me a grand total of 2hrs 24mins (in normal conditions) + at least 2hrs to make sure where there in time. Should be fun getting up at 7:30! the things we do to see us go back there a month later, hope that isn't a 12:15ko!

First time i can say MGP was awful at corners and freekicks. He must have had 5 or 6 all wasted. Defensively Todd, Lucas, Nelson were superb all game, nissa had a shakey but normal performance for once i was happy to see matteo replacing him. We came for a point and thats what we got!

When we play them at ewood on saturday we will have a good chance to try a few approaches at them. As i think everybody in the footballing world knows they are very weak on defending set pieces and crosses, so maybe we should get MGP and Emmo working on them all week. We need to take a bolton like approach to it. This is possibly one of the best draws for us, if we can gain the psycological edge by beating them at ewood and then shut up those stupid gooners. Just need to get a ticket and i'm away

Well i decided in my wisdom that real vs juve would be the tie out of the 4 played today and last time. I have to say it was very boring, the exact opposite of both chelsea games! Juve have to have the mose wasteful strikers ever and real have to have the worst defense ever! Nobody looked like scoring until the ball hit the net it was that bad. No saves by the keeper at all!!!! Chelsea to win it for me with outsiders lyon as hot tips!

Ifwe hope to compete higher up the table or even stablise around where we are we need to try and minimise losing players to only those who just aren't worth keeping. Dickov, emerton, douglas, gally and maybe even flitty should all stay if only to keep the numbers up of able replacements. To call for dickov to leave is obsurd we have to hold onto our top scorer even at 34. Gally is still young and with time you never know at least he is scoring. Douglas has not been given a chance and i think he deserves one at least. Emerton although he is frustrating as we improve as a team he will along with stead they are very good in spells and need to have others playing well to set them off, earlier in the season he was on fire but now mgp is, swings and roundabouts, still better than reid or thommo on the right, prefer reid as a attacking mid centre. Out for certain has to be: Amo, Short, Gray Depending on wage cuts: Jansen, Tugay Playing til the last day for a deal: Johansson and bothroyd will be returned as a loan player to italy!

Considering the high regard we all hold todd i think he has been as good if not better in last few games. For ryan to come in on a free transfer and take a hold of our defence and put in such great performances is awesome. Bargain of the season i just hope he keeps it up!

As is on my other post, i am a member at freelivefootball they have got 2 links to the game. one using real player and one using coolstreaming. i am not sure if i am aloud to give out the links or not i don't see why i can't. But then again i don't want loads of people stopping me getting on I am a bit unsure about the coolstreaming link as it just seems to be normal espn but i have been assured it will show the game live. The stream is as good as your net can handle apparently, as i only have 512kps i have not been able to try this out! i'll keep you informed if it works, if not its rovers world for me!
