Problem is we now have no further time to make that judgement, we are probably talking tomorrow the deal with notlob could go through, but for some stalling by Dunny. So it's put up or shut up time for the board and they seem to be putting up, if only for the sake of improved attendance. I also don't see why Brum would make it difficult for us to get him, sure they don't like us but if i were them i'd just rather be shot of him and have the money to bring in someone else. Rather than playing around and maybe scuppering both deals. -

Dunn signed a 4 year deal in the summer of 2003 and within that deal there was the option of an extra year(s). However i don't see how this all works, because in theory he is in the last 6 months of his deal now, so should he not be allowed to negotiate a free transfer? Birmingham would be stupid to keep him on for another year at the same wages just to spite us and miss out on over a million as well. Just can't see it. I still think Dunn has been very clever by talking to notlob and making sure the press found out. edit: 53 starts in 3 1/2 seasons and 8 goals. -

An article i read earlier said that he passed the first medical, however he was to have a further more in depth one over the weekend. -

2008 or 2009? From what i have heard he is injury free at this moment in time but obviously having not played he won't be near match fitness. He has been warming up by going round the blackburn pub circuit. -
What bloody post? he's made a few posts non of which contain traces of blood. As has been said hughes has said on a few occassions that he wants lucas to stay and that a new offer (post world cup) was on the table. Granted it may have been the same terms but maybe lucas couldn't be bothered to look at the offer. Rumours start by someone's neighbours dog posting on here and saying that players are coming or that managers have lost the dressing room. Which of course turn out not to be true. If you read into lucas' comments then you only get one side of the story, but equally if you read the rovers statements you get the same. Reasoning out the logical middle isn't easy as both parties are probably lying. It is very easy to go with the club on this one as they aren't the ones with the agent and who are leaving in the next 6 months. At the risk of sounding like jim or west sussex rover, stop personally attacking me I get the feeling that Hughes may have discussed it with him in passing.

There was a clear arm in the back Stick on penalty! He didn't go down when he was punched round the face, granted he wanted to get revenge but still Bloody Johnny Foreigner

On the plus side it'll be a couple of seasons before we pay them the extra million. -
I'm shocked if thats true and i don't see what the club has to gain by putting out stories that they have offered him a contract when they haven't? Hughes obviously wanted him to stay (captaincy, etc) so why would the board go against that?
-
Also if they keep it quiet it might not make us look so desperate, and easy to get money out of, when we make bids for a midfielder. There is no way we can manage with Tugay, Sav & Moko for the rest of the season.

God pleasure, you only ever bring pain & dispair Hope to god this isn't true or hughes will have to go out and buy someone.

Out of Contract at the end of the season and i think he will get alot of interest, so unless rovers come up with the cash, you could see him going to one of the new investment teams. Maybe joining Lucas at West Ham. edit: BBC have updated their Dunn story to -

As i have said before i would on want him on a pay as you play deal, as there is no way you can rely on him to be injury free. But my never forgive him comment wasn't for him not coming to us but for going to them. and it doesn't take alot to baffle you theno If the deal is £2m then you have to question BFS, but Brum have got the figure they wanted. -

Would never be able to forgive him for that move and there is no way he would pass the medical anyway! -

haha quality Wasn't looking for this but stumbled across Katers17, who is a girl who makes short clips and stuff. I think this is her best one.... -
2 weeks minimum it said on SSN. Annoying after a good outing on sunday.

I keep expecting him to be part of a hidden camera show or something, why can't he enjoy our success rather than always being on a downer. "We're just a small town in europe"

Well at the moment we have Savage and Tugay trying to hold the fort. I am sure that any extra bodies in the central midfield area are well recieved and i doubt the rovers medical staff would allow Hughes to complete the deal unless Dunn completes and passes a full medical. -
Typical i travel round the world and rovers start winning! Come on Rovers! Just need to see this Wonder Goal

Have to say i wanted MGP dropped for Peter but the difference between before and after the sub was amazing. Maybe it had something to do with MGP being fresh but he got the ball into the box which for the previous x minutes peter had failed to do with any effect. Derbs looked good with his movement and was not supported very well by Gally. Jay looked as if he has lost all his confidence and was trying so hard not to give the ball away. Nolan did nothing wrong, i thought he was a CB though?
