  1. £3 Million, decent wages, we can ill afford to shoot our load on one player, however good he may look. We need 9 or 10 players. Disappointing, but in the end probably the right decision to not over commit on the first signing
  2. I'm open minded at present, sort of at a crossroads. There is certainly some positive things with a change in management but it was never forseen 18 months ago. I've seen the latest business engagement brochure which has been quite well recieved. I liked the retro shirts done last season. I'm optimistic that we have a transfer budget, We are an established championship side now, and although disappointed we couldn't sustain our promotion push, it was nice to feel we was actually in the race. The rest is very much in the air, and proof will be in the pudding i guess. I have my season ticket, looking forwards to getting my new shirt, and thankful that touch wood i get to see season 22/23
  3. Employees only, 1 season ticket
  4. Totally wicked are subsidising it, Its a great idea
  5. Was talking to a Portsmouth fan who thinks they are on for 20k,
  6. Could be a few take up totally wicked's employee offer. All employees will get £100 off season ticket funded by Totally wicked, and also big discount on replica kits - 2 per household
  7. I believe some maintenance to the stands if going to be carried out via rope access, Taziker doing the works
  8. We could do buy one get one free and still have a third of a stadium to fill. The free kids tickets should of stayed, its these we want to catch the bug
  9. Or with a 2022/23 season ticket, you too can call yourself "one of our own", is a tweet i think saw this week. The rest of you i guess aint
  10. Absolutely, we've become the masters in recent seasons of relying on the additional season clause, rather than have them tied down (like Phil Jones). This area needs a rethink, especially with the calibre of players who have left for nothing this season, which has spunked away potentially millions in transfer revenue
  11. I'd Hope not given the alledged £7 million we paid, be very poor on our part, as his fee as a rookie was very high for us to pay at the time
  12. Yeh could very much be a Gestede, stunning season, and then nothing elsewhere
  13. Bums on seats create an Atmosphere, id rather have 15k with the same revenue of 9k season ticket holders. It increases match day revenue in other areas, whilst has a greater impact in growing the supporter base. However you get to the number, with your sales/complimentary/subsidised is irrelevant. An ewood with 18k plus inc away fans is a rocking ewood, its that 12th man the management and players always elude to. Making Ewood a Fortress which teams dont want to come to, is vital
  14. 100% last seasons sale of Armstrong with no replacement was criminal. There was nothing to suggest Brereton could replicate the goalscoring void Armstrong left. Thankfully BBD, did, however his injury, said goodbye to promotion, and had we bagged a striker in the summer, then i think we'd have picked up more points than we did in 2022
  15. Think those fixtures couldnt of come out any better to be honest. Plenty of early games which you'd think we should consider as very winnable fixtures. A good start, to get that momentum going. Very happy with fixture list
  16. The noise, is similar to Armstrong last season, with the same comments of "if he goes, we'd hope to have some of that money to spend" Publically we are certainly not issuing a "hands off". I suspect he will go, I just hope we are already identifying a replacement, where we can push the button once we get an acceptable fee. I think most of us would like him to stay, but we have to be realistic, he hasnt agreed a new deal (not sure if one has/was offered), so like Armstrong we have little choice but to cash in sadly
  17. 100% , we will be fine, and this wont affect or detract from a decent appointment and summer strategy
  18. We did have derek shaw hide two permits in his draw, so not totally obsurb
  19. I'd assume so, It won't affect much in reality, he will 100% get permit, will be having all the same discussions with GB and SW, and getting to know the players as any new manager, its just a bit of red tape
  20. I'm sure he will be working but in an unofficial capacity
  21. Anyway will draw a line under the "friend/friendly" comment, as I genuinely wish the trust the best and hope the Trust objectives are one day met, which in turn would benefit the whole supporter base and clubs re-engagement. Regarding your comment of immaturity, give me a break. If people want to act like 50 men behind a keyboard, then perhaps as stated many times by me, they come and speak to me in person. The world is changing, and its no longer okay to abuse, gang up or throw comments about like candy, without repercussion. In my supporter group days, i had to bite my tongue, count to 10 and move on. Now i don't have the same restraints,
  22. I questioned the phrase "he is my friend" As an elected body, this is a very strange comment. As Duncan and others on the trust would vouch, and i do speak to them regularly, my support for the trust both privately and publically has always been positive, you can read the trust thread, which is just snippets of my feelings on the trust. I know you are also on the trust Mike, and if people posing questions, is a problem then there needs to be a rethink. Is there any minutes I can read regarding these meetings? Regarding my other post, which had zero connection to the trust, but more so to the one or two idiots who appear now and again to chuck shit then disappear, then i meant every word. Come on how can I take people serious, who throw golf balls, Tennis Balls and Launch fireworks into a stadium when a match is on, with no regard to the safety of either the players or fans in the stadium who refused to boycott? Choose your alliances wisely, as the wrong ones are far more damaging
