Fake/citezenship/ passports - Formica, a recipe in Italy. Hidden work permits in drawers at Ewood - Shaw/Agnew - leaving rovers with a decimated medical team - whilst they played King of the castle. Kean's contract written by himself, with ludicrous bonus and a hefty personal loan off rovers for himself Kentaro massive business associate in Venkys pharmaceutical business (this has always bugged me, that relationship of the people who were in Kentaro continues) Yet its still laid out they were naive. Anderson a snake and well out of the picture, but he was never the pied piper, he was just allowed to be one of many lunatics in the asylum. It goes much deeper than him and not on these shores. Why did they get away with it and there will be no retribution? Simple Kentaro were one of the FA's biggest Financial partner/sponsor, with their support massive with our own national team. 95% of gagging orders were issued by our own FA as they knew this was much bigger than Blackburn rovers, and would have had lasting damaging implications to the administration who govern our english game. Regardless of the current climate, £100 million plus later spent, the day they darkened our door, was the day the heart was ripped out of the club. Whatever the future holds, the club will never have that beating heart of being the pillar of our community as long as they own this club. Many say we should forgive, be grateful, we would be no more without them etc. I'D RATHER PUT PINS IN MY EYES

Its an interesting podcast, but not anything I've not reported before 11th August 2011 i wrote this : https://roversrevisited.blogspot.com/2011/08/puppet-or-puppeteer.html?m=1#comments 5 years later after further investigation,i then released further information and this was the result https://www.sportskeeda.com/football/misery-at-blackburn-rovers-leaked-documents-reveal-harrowing-details-of-the-indian-rule-at-riverside The truth is,if it had not been for the supporters,we probably wouldnt have a club now. We stood up against the crooks, shouted louder than they could handle and one by one took each one out. BRFCS was a big part of ensuring the likes of Anderson are no more. The FA, Premier League, Football league and Parliament took us serious and had very uncomfortable moments as we sat across the table from us. what this podcast shows, is as fans it was not our job to expose it, or indeed spend our own money to do so. Many out there had the inside track, but stayed quiet

Watched it, and was a good insite. Spoke alot about his time with other clubs and Managers, and very complimentary about them all bar Di Canio , Coyle and Mowbray. Given he was at rovers for four and half seasons he skirted around his time at the club. He liked Lambert who was true to his word of leaving if venkys didnt back the club with cash. He spoke of the treatment of Mulgrew being unfair, given our goals against column did not improve last season. Obviously loved a good session on the beer, as did most of the teams he has played for. Mowbray and Venus giving different views on how they want the side to play, is probably why we have come up short the last couple of seasons. If the players are not sure whats being asked of them, they cant be expected to keep with any game plan. I did sense, he has just left a ship, which has never been as happy as it may look from the outside. A big season ahead for Rovers and Mowbray. We certainly have the numbers to be able to get through injuries and suspensions. We need to show consistency in our play now. We looked world beaters against Wycombe and Derby. However Forest and Cardiff, those two teams sat 10 yards deeper and basically nullified any penetration. It was a similar tale against Newcastle, we had all the ball, but around the 18 yard box, it was trying to thread the eye of the needle. I actually think Rovers do suffer from not having big lads in the attacking third. We could argue, Gallagher and Brereton should be on the end of crosses with their height. However im 5-10, and at their age was scoring 10 to 15 headers a season. Their body shape is all wrong, its easy to defend. They are too static when we hit long to either player. They take up a space, rather than go and meet the ball. Danny Graham was a master of hold up play. Whilst when we get the ball in the box, Gallagher in particular is either static waiting for it to land on his head, rather than making a movement to meet the ball. Or he is just not backing himself to beat his man and score. I think the squad we have should get top 6, but TM will need to come up with plan b, c and d, so we dont become predictable relying on individual moments of brilliance.

Season Tickets 2020-21

Have you linked your account to your season ticket? When I had not logged in, it would not let me buy my seat. However once I linked my seat, it was there for me -
Season Tickets 2020-21

I'm sure quite a few won't renew, 1. Some through uncertainty 2. Some through their own personal financial circumstances in which Covid has brought 3. Some because they have found something else to do with their time 4. Some because it feels like a "Slap in the face" Everyone is different, some people have 2,3,4 or even more season tickets to renew, it's a lot of money even on last season's prices with no guarantee of actually watching the games in person -

As difficult at it is (Don't know when if ever this season) We will be allowed back in the ground. It's a damned if you do, or do not for Rovers here. Ultimately if they get no revenue, we could be the next Wigan, or Bolton. On that basis, I will pay my £400, as I don't trust Venky's to fund us with no revenue stream at all. Wages still need to be paid and not just the footballing side. I cannot justify complaining if we don't sign players, i.e decent defenders, striker etc, Then say "F**K Em" No money from me. Season tickets would of gone up regardless this season, -
We may get a windfall if certain players move, i.e king etc. For the right player the money is always there, As proven on many past occassions. Playing in Scotland, wages not as daft as perhaps signing say Tosin. We wouldnt be looking at him if it was impossible. He is a decent age, fits the profile of buying players who we can make a profit on. Not saying he is coming, but aware there is an interest
-
There has been quite a bit of interest in him over last 12 months, bids last summer, interest in january. You'd be surprised how values plummet with Covid. He has certainly been looked at by rovers over the summer, can play left back and centre back. Never say never

Scott Mckenna
-
He is a clown, he blocked me for telling him we were signing Dann and Yakubu, his words were "they better not be, there will trouble" lol
-
Its the hope that kills you, so i think we will win tomorrow. TM Tends to bag wins in these type of games, raise optimism, get fans dreaming of the play offs, save his job etc etc With the injuries we have he will probably stumble on a team that works as our options are quickly dwindling

The Godlike Genius of Charlie Mulgrew

You are either on the wind up, or just dont read post? You go round and round like a roundabout, and dont appear to be able to put together an adult response. I get your "groupie approach" , i've been reading it for years and I tend to just pass by your post and ignore as you would spin the club closing as a good thing. As someone who manages adults on a daily basis, Id certainly not publically diss their ability publically. We all have opinions, but some of those are best left unsaid. Please dont respond to this post, as I cannot be bothered reading it -

I dont think a tribunal would think that. Footballers have the same employment rights, as you and I. As fans we can have our opinion all day long , as we neither employ him or have a contractual responsibility. Reading Charlies interview in LET, that oozes class , which is the opposite of the one Rovers put on the website from mowbray -

A very unprofessinal interview, if I said that about one of the guys who worked under me, i'd have an employment tribunal. He is basically saying , you was not part of the plan, still aint, and because you've played for 2 clubs this season, we are stuck with you. He also insinuates that playing higher up the pitch means he is not cut out for it, its up there with MGP pensioner remark IMO, If the above is the true feelings, then it should of been kept behind closed doors -
January transfer window 2020

The 10 players to score 100 goals for Rovers, in alphabetical order, are: Tommy Briggs (143), Jack Bruton (115), Peter Dobing (104), Bryan Douglas (115), Simon Garner (192), Ted Harper (122), Eddie Latheron (104), Andy McEvoy (103), Alan Shearer (130) and Jack Southworth (121) Jordan Rhodes hit 84 goals in 3 and half seasons at Rovers, which has him 13th in the clubs all time records, Yes he had his critics, but did exactly what he was bought for. he has suffered since leaving by lack of game time, but if he came back, im sure he would be a 20 goal man again. It was only a few weeks back he hit a hat trick in a rare start for Sheff Wed -

I would of had Paul Gallagher back, wanted to come back when we were relegated. 2 and 1/2 seasons later, still doing ok for northend, despite spending more time in midfield now adays. Like downing, excellent on the ball, and good for 60 -65 minutes. We could do a lot worse given we have no cash, at least he creates goals. Think he has 5 goals in 22 games this season, which is a good return given he is not playing up front. -
Very poor game, 2 sides lacking in confidence and ideas. A draw a very fair result despite us nearly winning in stoppage time. Walton - might be doing him an injustice but their goal apprared where I was sat to go straight down the middle, but that maybe the angle I was sat, bar that never had too much to do -7 Nyambe - didnt half get grief from me last season as he had more touches than anyone but always went backwards. This season different player and was arguably our best outlet until he went off -8 Tosin - comfortable game and good improvisation at other end that nearly bagged a winner - 7 Lenihan - Like Tosin, never put a foot wrong and kept Pne quiet - 7 Evans - wasnt on long enough , but a better player than Johnson and we were evidently not ad good when he went off -6 Travis - one of his quiter games in a dour fixture where we cancelled each other out -6 Gallagher - played wide again, never beat the first man with a number of crosses, was ineffective in the air and despite a bit of running closing down, id be looking for a refund if he had cost half a million - 5 Downing- Steady enough game without creating too much of note -7 Holtby - took 25 minutes before he touched ball, but had a couple of good efforts on gosl snd looked most likely to create or score a goal -7 Armstrong - was very lively, scored a good goal and 3 times raced past Gallager to chase a ball down Gallagher should of chased, needs some support - 8 Bell - was much better defensively and came to rescue 3 times when it looked like North end were in. Not as effective going forwards, but defensively solid - 7 Subs Bennett - looked off the pace and brought very little to the party -5 Graham - had a couple of chances at back post but failed to control - 5 Johnson - Never got forwards too much and struggled on the ball in a scrappy game - 6

Age cant come into it, some of the best players world wide are still boys, half the national team are still young lads. If you are good enough, you are old enough. I dont know where this myth comes from RE they are not ready at 19,20,21, 22. Thats part of TMs problem, he is living in the past You only have to look at Man Utd, and yes they are not challenging for honours, However their side is full of young kids again like the fergie mid 90s era. We have a premier league, where the likes of Rashford, Greenwood, Alexander Arnold, Gomez, Ali, Saka, Guendozi, Mount etc etc, are playing regular in the top division, in europe, at international level, at big clubs with big expectations and bigger crowds. Yes our young players are not up to their level, but they are not shrinking violets either.

January transfer window 2020
glen9mullan replied to GunnerRover7's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Im unsure what we should do, In reality we need GK, LB, RB, at least one CB 2 wingers 2 strikers If TM is staying then we need to spend, if he is on borrowed time, then i'd rather spend nothing and wait until we get a new manager. In recent games its been a case of 11 players on pitch, no real plan and a team which looks like all the confidence has been sucked from it. I dont know if this is due to the weekly constant changes to the line up, or players just playing out of position. Players get managers sacked, but in our case too many are just not good enough, which comes down to recruitment. Twitter is twitter, people claiming Brereton was crying today due to abuse. The reality is, he was shocking again, someone says they heard one thing, someone takes that as a fact, then twist a story to make it sound believable and then uses mental health awareness day as justification. These players get good money to play football, they get grief when they are not playing well, as its a sport of emotion. The opposition support give them grief, it comes with the territory. How many on here can honestly say they've never given the ref grief, not joined in with the chants " you dont know what you are doing", "the referees a w@@k@r" . "We're playing 12 again", is this not bullying also? Is this a disgrace too? Our players need to stand up to be counted, stop hiding behind excuses, as does the manager. The team is about where it should be given the personnel we have. TM Says there is no cash, so on that basis, the squad we already have needs to pull its socks up and prove they are of championship standard -
My view of Mowbray is he was like a breathe of fresh air when he came in and during our promotion season. He said the right things, assembled a pretty decent side in league 1 and brought a bit of pride back into the shirt. That being said, his signings since promotion with the biggest spend of any manager during Venkys reign have in the main been disappointing. Dack is the one who has been a massive success and is one of the best bargains we've ever found, but lets not kid ourselves most clubs find a bargain each season sell him make money, then find another. Some frustrations £12 million on strikers that neither score or play consistently in the position they were bought for. His failure to buy a goalkeeper, in what world as a championship professional club do we fail to have a first choice keeper contracted to the club? Walton has cost us 3 or 4 games already this season. He highlighted and publically stated our defence was not good enough last season, but has failed to improve upon it. 2 of the 4 that started the season are loanees , one is out for the season, whilst the other has been steady without being spectacular. Our early season poor run was due to us having no defenders. Formation? What actually is it? The product is dross, with the odd decent game every 10 or so. In the main i've been bored at most matches this season and only get my Butt out of my seat when someone wants to walk past. Players out of position? Its quicker to list who is playing in position as that list you can count on one hand. Leaders - the team lacks any, are we any better for the loss of Conway and Mulgrew? Id say no, as we dont seem to have the same grit and determination. Are we playing better or worse this season than last? I think worse, despite more points, we drew a lot last season and the defeat column was much less at this stage last season. The team has gone stale in my opinion, all this "dont trust them to appoint anyone better"? Is hogwash, its certainly not a reason to keep a manager. Personally i think his time is up, if he left now he would leave with , "he did a good job". If he sees out the season, that good job could soon be forgotten as something needs to give. This unbeaten 8 game run, was on the back of an awful start, and has been followed by a crap xmas.

Was very end to end and an exciting match, We fully deserved the win, and in the space of a week have gone from poor start to three wins on the bounce and the world looks a happier place :-). Hull are no mugs, TM tactically got it Bob on. Hull play so high, making the decision to use Armstrong down the middle a good one, it allowed us to have more of the ball and create a number of chances by stretching Hull. I was unsure what Downing would bring to us so late in his career and tbh was underwhelmed with his signing. However it's good to be wrong, he's added genuine quality/consistency in passing/ crossing in the final third which creates chances. As TM stated , we've lots of improvement in us, we need to start scoring goals again from open play and put games to bed, that being said, it's about getting the points and I will take 1-0 every week if it gets us to the right end of the table. We move onto Saturday now with a bit of confidence, if we get three points , that table is going to look pretty good, and it would be deemed an excellent start to the season.
-
I do think Mowbray just stock piles players without any thought on where they fit in or how it affects our style of play. We dont seem to have a style of play or a fixed formation. Football is about winning, yes we like to be entertained, but a wins a win and I'd rather be unattractive and push for promotion, than be like a play ground team chucked on the pitch with all things crossed that we score one more goal than the opposition. He appears to have lost all composure In recent interviews and I'd say he is could be gone if we dont get a point on Saturday. The league cup historically is a second team game, and we cant really judge the side on tonight. It's all about the league, can TM inspire this set of players? Something has definitely gone down over the last week, the sense of togetherness seems miles away.
-
There is a decent side in this squad somewhere, and credit to TM it's a team he has rebuilt. His biggest noose is the £12 million spent on two strikers who to date are average at best. Why we got no defenders this summer appears on the face of it to be down to funds or lack of them, despite us blowing the budget on Gallagher. I like TM as a guy, he's honest and has put a bit of pride back into the badge, I cant forget what he inherited, and he turned our fortunes. That being said , it is a results business. We sit rock bottom after 2 games and have yet to see the opposition keeper get severely tested. Our new keeper looks like his subbuteo stick has fallen off. 4 goals conceded to date, and only an own goal in the for column. We need to beat Boro next week or sadly the tide will turn against TM. Given what he's done for the club, it would be harsh if he went through a couple of months of bad results and had the crowd singing for his head. Hopefully he turns it around or if not is removed quickly with a thank you.
