I feel your pain, I Currently live just outside newcastle have 2 kids aged 1 and 4, the little girl is 4 and I try my best (taking her to games when we're down, buying her kits ect) to keep the support alive, but I know its going to be an uphill battle as they get older, the wife's family are split 50/50 Sunderland, Newcastle and finding it harder and harder whilst both their fortunes are beginning to look up whilst ours are looking ever so bleak and its gotten to a point I feel like just giving up, its just embarrassing the way the club is run.

Oh I thought when it said cooking it might be the keeper seen as hes from Hungary.. 😂

Well when we went in on Tuesday they had none. Said they did online but when we went in store they only had Large in every shirt

To be fair we're not the only club struggling for stock, I live in the North East and my wife is a Sunderland fan, she saw their new third kit and wanted it so we headed down to the club shop, they literally have naff all size wise all they had in every shirt was Large which fit more like a medium and when we asked they said theyre waiting for an order but cant give a time frame. So we're not the only ones. Bristol City much same as a friend couldnt get any shirt in his size until this past week.

I'd definitely be looking to keep Brereton offer him a new contract 2 years with a rise on the promise that of someone comes in next summer he can go, I genuinely believe he will kick on next season too, yeah his goals dried up in second half of the season but I think he brings much more to the team than just goals, he commits defenders he also has a really good football brain and wins free kicks in dangerous positions. Even when people wanted rid of him the season before I thought he had a decent season and definitely had talent just lacked confidence. I think if he got a move to a prem club I think he'll excel I genuinely do. So for me try our best to keep him if he doesn't want to stay fair enough cash in but I think in 2/3 years we'll be looking at a good Premier league player.
