  1. Lucky for you coyle got the job instead of him so
  2. I like Warnock. Speaks his mind. So what if he likes a moan don't we all. If he was manager here we would all love him and defend him to the heights
  3. No, but he is entitled to be pissed off. I would be too. Would you not? The wolves manager was very apologetic, so he knows he should have shook hands and showed respect before running to celebrate with his players
  4. He should have shook hands with warnock first, that's the etiquette. I can understand why he was pissed. Although it wouldn't take much after missing two penalties in extra time. What a finish to the game
  5. Now that is a trip down memory lane. Good times.. Ya, pretty sure the part where Hojo was trying mate Red XII and Aeries will be avoided also.
  6. My thoughts exactly. I think you could skip random battles in the PC version and speed up walking speed. I have a feeling I would prefer that to what we will be served up in this remake. I just can't see them capturing the charm and kookiness of the original. I mean, how will they even do those scenes in the Honeybee inn with realistic graphics?? It will look ridiculous at best, creepy at worst
  7. Ya, I'm not optimistic myself. I don't think they will be able to recreate what us fans really want to see. The entire world recreated from scratch with todays best available graphics. Rockstar or Project CD Red would have a good stab at it. Apparently it will be released in 6 episodes. Immediate alarm bells. A few months back they advertised for loads of new staff for the project, I think they are starting to realize what they have will not match expectations. Perhaps we aren't even at the point graphically or processing power wise where the game could be remade. I never played Chrono trigger. Always wanted to. Pyre is cool. It's a sports RPG
  8. I suppose it depends on when you play them. If I played 7 for the first time now, I would probably be annoyed by the random battles, text conversations and blocky graphics. My God 12-13 year old me was so immersed in it. I finished it 3 times at around 100 hours a time. Uncovered everything, unlocked everything and saw every scene. I loved everything about it. I can't imagine ever having such a magical video game experience again. Last year I did enjoy Pyre on the PS4, did you play that? I am also really enjoying Breath of the wild. If 13 year old me played that I would imagine I would have a similar experience to FF7. Are you optimistic about the FF7 remake?
  9. Have any of you played Bloodborne on PS4? My God, what a game...
  10. 7 is the greatest game ever IMO. I have played every on since up to 11. Never matched 7. I kind of gave up on the franchise
  11. I don't know if it was just me, but I never felt like we actually challenged for promotion or even the play offs under bowyer. We had a good team and he was a decent manager, but a bitter taste was still fresh from what had gone before. Plus, as I said, I never felt like we would get to the play offs. We always seemed to capitulate when within reach
  12. I will start the plaudit thread so and be awaiting your posts
  13. Yes, I meant when we took him back form Birmingham as a player
  14. Bringing David Dunn back made sense, bringing Jason Lowe back, does not. I wouldn't be surprise if he eventually found his level and ended up in League 1
  15. Ah if a lad is doing well in training it's hard to leave him out. Hopefully he starts to take a chance or two. Lucky the main man DG has stepped up massivley
  16. Maybe and now this is wild speculation and really out there, but maybe Mowbray is sticking with him as back up to Graham because he is doing well in training? You know the 95% we don't see
  17. What more would you expect after spending 3 million?
  18. On Ipswich Chaddy, you said they have a good squad. In my opinion Mccarthy has kept them up, comfortably, with worse players than we went down with
  19. From the 3 Ipswich games you have watched? You do know he has won the championship more than any other manager, right?
  20. Attractive football back then was the same as attractive football now.
  21. Chaddy, good, attractive football is what it is. If he did it 16 years ago, he was actually ahead of his time. Please don't name those players as quality and expect me to take your point seriously about him underachieving or playing a certain style with Ipswich.
  22. He played some of the most attractive football I have ever seen Ireland play at the 2002 world cup, so I'm not sure what you mean about methods, tactics and style of play being old school. Granted we had Duff, Keane(for a while), Finnan along with the rest of the squad playing top 10 premier league football, but they played great football. Would have beaten Spain in the last 16 only for Ian Harte missing a penalty near the end to make it 2-1 Are you talking about the same Ipswich team as me? What good players are you referring to? So, you are basing it on all the Ipswich games you have seen on TV over the past 3 years? Whats that ,about 3 games? Sounds more like you are basing it on what some Ipswich fans are saying. In my opinion those fans are in for a rude awakening if the level of funding remains the same. They will be far closer to relegation unless they make a very shrewd appointment, get it wrong and they are in big trouble.
