  1. What? It's his current profile. Not a tweet from almost 7 years ago. Whats your point exactly?
  2. That us getting relegated is nothing to do with them
  3. Wait and see. This will be used as a stick if he has a bad game. Do you not know how it works with some rovers fans? It seems so silly to me that a fan would go and dig that tweet up and then go sharing. What's the point? How was he even being "thick"? He just gave his opinion. His twitter profile now says that he is a proud footballer of Blackburn rovers. Maybe fans should share that
  4. Huddersfield fans probably saying the same about us
  5. Did the mob make him say something completely harmless over 6 years ago? No they didn't, but they went to the effort of digging the tweet up
  6. So being successful and having better players means more people come to watch your games? No way, who would have though it
  7. So it appears the mob have their smoking gun
  8. As a defensive midfielder, he was as good as anyone in League One and a match for many in the second tier. He could read a game, anticipate problems, stop the threats. If there was opposition danger, he would be somewhere near it, doing his best to snuff it out.Read more at: http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/rotherham-united/rotherham-united-no-airs-no-graces-but-a-big-heart-farewell-richie-smallwood-1-8577327
  9. I got lost in season 6. The episodes were so similar that I couldn't remember where I was in the season, so I just gave up. Earlier seasons were deadly.
  10. I don't think anyone thought he would end up at the level he did. Hence why when he left us he went to Stoke for 3 million
  11. If we keep who we have and sign 5-6 more Whittingham caliber players on frees, we will be in good shape. The Vs wont need to break open their chicken piggy bank too much.
  12. “I’m really pleased to be here,” he added. “I was at Cardiff for a long time, but I felt like I needed this. I just wanted a fresh challenge and I feel like this is perfect for me. I’m excited. “Just being around the training ground, you see what a huge club it is. It's an amazing club and it definitely shouldn't be in League One, so it’s up to us and everyone to get us out of here and get us back in the Championship. “It could be exciting – being in and around the top six, and hopefully the top two. I just want to enjoy my football and hopefully enjoy the results.”
  13. Yes I did say that. Fitness does depend on how hard someone works, no? At his age he may need to be prepared to do a bit extra. Mcallister said in an interview he was training when others weren't. At 32/33, I am sure Whittingham will be fine in League 1
  14. Shoot the runner! Could have been the dream league 1 midfield. Jesus even Akpan. Maybe Tomlinson can do similar. It makes me wonder where Evans will fit in. I would like him to stay, he would be a very good League 1 player, if he stays fit. I think his injury record may actually scare clubs off.
  15. Gary Mcallister went to Liverpool at 36 and was their fittest player. It all depends on how much work Whittingham puts in.
  16. This is great. I was looking for a rovers podcast. Well done lads I use podcast Republic on Android. It isn't showing up. What should I search for?
  17. Where Jason Lowe ends up could be the most exciting transfer deal of the summer. So where will he end up? I am going for Hull city. Discuss
  18. What if he won 7 and drew 3? We could be top of the league. You can't be that rigid. Where we are in the table and performances need to come into it too. Agree it's too early to discuss extensions. Time enough end of the season or Christmas if we are doing well. Although imagine we win the championship and he gets offered a job elsewhere, we all know what people will be saying on here. Why did venkys let his contract run down etc etc
  19. Fair enough, some good suggestions. Personally though, I would see Mowbray as a safer pair of hands than any of them, plus he has had 3 months already to assess our squad, which is invaluable.
  20. Who would you like to see manage us currently so? Lots on here adore a good moan, but offer very little in the way of constructive alternatives.
