  1. that ok , but by having a go at future fans this will not encourage them to go. Its a free market and people can chosse to go or not. for some people rovers its there life, well let me be honest for me its not, its one of the iceing on top of the cake, but not the cake itself. Family, friends, people that care for me come along way up the order of thing them rovers do. yes I want them to win and its great when they do, but life goes on if they win or lose, or even draw for that matter
  2. I hope that we win and I think that we will. Has for the gates for some fans its down to budgets. the Club as one and one wants to see it live outside its means and do a Leeds. Likewise fans have budgets and we do not want to live outside our means.
  3. the first half we were by far the better side and should of been 2-3 goals up. IN the second half with bellamy out, we had no pace up front and the ball just kept on coming back, which means that in the summer we need another forward as good as bellamy. This might mean that one of our better players whom we have cover for might be sold to help fund the new forward.
  4. for me its dowm to a number of factors which are; how much we get for a player have we some one in the club who can replace him who the manager is does the team need changeing everone has there price and if a club meets that price the player will go,for me anything betweem 10-12 mill and he will go have we someone to replace him, yes peter who the manager is, is vital, under GS the use of money was not always good, under MH the money he has spent has todate been very well used, and as such I am sure we will use future money in the same manner Does the team need changing, well MH as stated that if we are to move on to the next level some new players are needed, and as such the money we get from the sale could be reused. NO one wants to sell there good players, but if the club needs the money to re-jig the team them that will happen
  5. itsa great deal by the club, however people still have to find the money, and as such what with other bills, gas, water, power, community charges) going up faster then wages being paid, some people will not be able to find it. however for me such people are still fans
  6. because some fans cannot afford the ticket price this make them not true fans, I think not, will the club pay the fans bills? once again I think not. A great game to watch and another three points nice on lads
  7. a very good game to watch and we should of got point. the third goal shows the strong and the weak points of the way we play. we hunt the ball down in packs of two/three players and that is good, but only if you win the ball. For the third goal we did this, but we did not win the ball and hence the back four was left with no cover, and that is the weak part, hunt in packs but win the ball.
  8. as someone who does not sing and is note deaf, I can understand why some fans do not sing, however it is important that fans that do want to sing can do so. Why can we not have a singing section in which fans that want to sing can book certain blocks of seats etc. then everyone is happy ( and if you belive that you have faith in anything )
  9. as I was watching the match and I saw all the words that the fans were throwing at both teams it made me think, its only a game, is the hate worth it. Yes we ewant our team to win, but to say that we hate other teams or players , managers, etc, its beyond me. I do hope that Smaith is ok, no one wants to see any one badly hurt. As for the match AF must of not been watching the same match as me. Liverpool were due far the better side, man utd midfield was so weak as to be untrue.
  10. I watched the match in a pub near accrington so here are a few thoughts. The most inportant part of the team is the spine. center half, middle field, center forward. if one part plays badly its a hard day at the office, however if they all fail to play, then its what we had today, no chance. There is no one who will boss the middle of the pitch, lose that and you lose the game, we need a player who can both attack and defend, there cost a lot of money, but we need one in the summer. As for this season is just getting as many points as we can starting with our next home match.
  11. thanks. I am working in the morning and as its an away game I will not have time to get to the match
  12. does anyone know if its being shown in any pubs in the area, cannot make the match due to work
  13. as football fans we all can take out views over one game at a time and this means that we can be world beaters one min and a compete wastse of time the next. And as football fans true to form that is what we do, however if we look at the bigger picture say over a ten block game period, them a better jugement can be made. for me its anywhere between 9-6th. and thats jugement is take over the season todate. Yes today was a bad day and wed-day was a very good day and somewhere we are in the middle, not bad side, but not a top four side yet.
  14. the defence played ok and the midfield was 50-50, not bad however there had three players in the middle and we had four. the big big gap was the forwards, the club does need to look a fresh again at this part of the team, because tonight there were bad, not just bad, but very bad. still there is always next year.
  15. when bolton went down to ten men we should of played three at the back five in midfield and two up front. bentley was not the right forward for todays game, toolight weight, still after that open goal miss its a point won rather then two lost
  16. I know this meant sound daft, however why is he good enough for Bolton, but not good enough as third striker for us
  17. feed back can take all kinds of formats and if you want to inform the club that fans should know how and why decsions are made then this can only happen by giving and getting feedback right back to football.........
  18. the more input from the fans the better for the club, and no matter how it is writtren, feedback for the club is better then having no feedback at all, so keep up the good work and keep on writing.
  19. for me todd played ok expect for the goal, I was shouting at the tv for him to move up and to play him off side, however he did not and as such the forward scored all in all I that nelsen and Zurab are the make the better parentership.
  20. a good peice of work and as person who has had to write a number of reports. it was easy to read. for me there are two main points. parking, its a pain, the club needs to have a park and ride system to make it simple for fans from around the area to attend. tickets. Could not the club have a system that for a lump sum you can attend four or five games of which there can be picked in advange of the games being played. ie £60 for four games and then when the fans pick them the seats are booked. A bit like a season ticket, but on a much smaller scale. This means that fans who cannot or who do not want to attend all the homes games can still get a good deal over four to five games and the club still gets a lump sum up front.
  21. watch it on sky, a good first half, but the second half we lost it in the middle and gave away the ball to much and we therefore put pressue on ourselfs rather then the other team. Ried was very good ibn the first half, but semmed to fad away a bit in the second. still a good three points.
  22. I think that, if and when he does leave, sunderland would be a good move for him, there make a lot of chances, but lack a forward of class which he is, and if they do go down he could rebuild himself just as sunderland will do if they go down
  23. do we have under soil heating and if so why is it not working
  24. while the defence has not played well for the last few games, To be fair to them, it keeps on being changed. The one area which needs to be the same is the back four.
