the point I was trying to make his that manager should/has to face the press no matter if they win or not, or whatever happens, yes it is hard, but thats part of the job, would he have faced the press if they had won I think so for what I have seen of him I think that he is a very good manager, but when things go against you as they did as that match them at times the true person can be see

Has someone who cannot make it tuesday, thats more tickets for everyone else I think that by and large the staff have done the best there can. However while I understand how the office cannot be opened 24 hr, ie safely of the paying fans, I cannot not understand why the phones cannot be staffed 24 hr with the fans being told that this is going to happen. The outcome of this is that the wait would not be as long, and people can phone in their none working hours. even if it meant having less lines open but staffed longer, it would help a lot Have a great night out on tuedsay and be safe the thought of 7,000 away fans around the ground could lead to problems

I thought he was wrong last night in not facing the press. Its ok to be good with the media when you win, but its how you act when things go against you that counts, and at the moment he is not going very well.
-
well I hope you all have a great time. I was hoping to go but cash flow will not allow it ( I know that some will say just go, but family income and outgoing comes first ) so beat them well at football and lest hope thay is no hassle
-
with ref to my idea of £10 for the return match, as its an extra match and the overheads are the same aprt from running the match all the money made is profit so its about many how money you make not if you will make money the £10 idea is a way of saying thank you to the fans. I think that the game will be sold out, but it would be nice for the club to give something back to the fans rather then taking all the time. Ps the £10 games tend to be the ones that people do not want to attend and hence the price, however as stated above I think that this one most fans will want to go to
-
well its a good draw all we need now is to beat Burnley
-
to be fair, and as a rovers fan who lives in pendle, the area is like a lot of towns it has its very bad parts amd some very good parts, but most of the towns are like every where else average. as for the match well the less said about that the better roll on tuesday and why not have £10 a ticket them the place would be full very full indeed
-
a win for rovers is a must has someone who lives in Nelson (nr Burnley) just a quick note please fans of both teams no fighting, I would not like to read that someone gets badly hurt after all its a football match not life or death
-
glad that you both can go, as for me, I will be about four miles away from the grounds watching it at home on the TV, call me soft but its safer there, Still rovers had better win or life in nelson will be Hell

1-1 and well earned point -
once again what more could JW do ? If he would not play in the FA cup then he had to go and we got the best price we could as for his family being home sick it seems that he was and that was about it. It is time for players to go up, my firm has just lost a contract and as such I either move with the new firm who has win it or change jobs. No say so no empowerment and yet players who earn more in a month them I will in my life time, cannot hack being away from home. get real. As for fans not going to all the games, can you blame them what with the cost of going and players like barry, who rip off the club, who said sorry to the rangers fans who leavening when he did, but did not not have the grace to say sorry either to Blackburn Rovers or to the fans well Bye BYe and do not darken our door again
-
how ever much it might naf people off ( and it will do) the baord and JW did the best that they could, they waited still the last momment and got the best price plus with the saving of his wages which I think are £30,000 a week the total price is not bad. will rovers go down with the side we have I think not, so lest wait till thew summer and use the money wisely
-
well has I live in nelson I do hope that rovers win if there do not I will get some stick some come on rovers and lets hope its on tv because not everyone will be able to get tickets
-
first it was never a pen second our forwards were bad very bad, the pasing and holding up the ball was just ............. third midfield is the heart and soul of any football team, where were there I still think we will not go down but we ned to do better much better
-
i just hope its sorter out sooner rather then later, the longer it goes on the harder it will be for him if he stays.
-
well I think if we win this one we will stay up, as the gap will have widened and with all the other teans also doing well at the bottom, it would be there head in if we won so, come on rovers 2-1 to the home boys
-
well to date is been a poor show all around from the player both on and off the pitch. my brother in law as worked away for about 8 years and only see his family at the weekend, yes its hard, but he gores why the work is it is about time that players started to live ibn the real world. There are very welled paid and as such should shut up, fufill their contract and do there best. fans get stick for not going to games etc but what about the players its all take, take, take. roll on feb ans we can all get back to the football

[Archived] Cardiff Replay Ticket Prices - ?24 !

i am always shocked when fans have a go at other fans for not going to games due to the cost, but give players a big well done when they put little back compared to the money that theu are given. when fans say enough is enough them clubs might stop paying players such a daft wage. for some people on low wages 24 pounds is a lot of money to pay to go and see a game, why can not clubs give somethings back to the fans from time to time and drop the prices so that averages fans can go once in a while -

duuue to the fact that I work at the weekends and the cost of going, I do not get to go to watch much matches lives, the ones that I look forward to are the so called lesser games ie leadgew cup FA cup replays which are/should be lower. I thought 10 pounds are all areas would be fair both to the clubs abd he fans but 24 pounds which means that while I could have gone if it had been a tenner and justified to my family £24 I cannot justified it, so there will be one part-time live support less -
grreat if we sign him but only at the right price ie 1.5-2 mill
-
ok fair points so far, however on our money who would you buy who are willing and able to join us. forwards are easy to name, but hard to buy
-
we lacked a bit of spark, the pace of the match was also down compared to our last game. To break dowm teams you need a center half who can both defend and feel at ease ob the ball, at the monment we do not have one. Our full backs must learn that they final pass is not up tp the mark and our center halfs are not much better. Time and time again thre final ball was poor is not very poor. The forwards can only play with either the ball at their feet or play along the floor into space, so why do we play the long high ball from the back ? could it be that, thats the only pass that they can make. all in all roll on the next matchm the good thing is that evryone near us also lost
