Panic appointment incoming. Might get lucky, might not. OR Might still give it Lowe given that we shouldn't go down and JE can be blamed for a slide. Who knows in Waghail land?
-
Of course he is. Survival in this league secure, money saved, bonus secure, majority of fans compliant. 🙂

The last game refereed by Gavin Ward involving Rovers was on November 9th away to Cardiff. We won 3-1.

It’s the stuff of messageboards. 😊

Indeed. Cue this board fed up with watching us lose every week. wondered what the Raos might do and the hierarchy. (For the record I don’t think we will go up. )

Ok so if we accept that, then it’s a tale of two shit shows. Only one pays 5k a week more. No brainer then 😊 -

Playground stuff. And not the point I was making but then missing the point seems rife. -

When Derby go down there will be several here who will gloat like kids in the playground. Won’t change the shit show that we have here. -
Curious to know what would happen IF we get into playoffs and IF we got promoted. That is, in relation to the Rao’s, the money, the players and performance in the top league.

It’s quite probable that JE knows Derby are very likely to be relegated and still took the job. And yet he would still rather be there than here. Tells you all you need to know about Rovers. Any other talk of morality, greed etc is at best redundant, perverse and naive and at worst a deliberate attempt to deflect attention from the real dire issues. 1-0 😊Appoint Lowe now 😉 -

Doing anything possible to leave the shit show that is Rovers? New narrative in play then I suppose - if we tumble down the league it’s big bad naughtyJE’s fault for jilting us. -

Yep he’s played a dysfunctional bullshitting hierarchy beautifully. -

Don’t know what the shock is here. All managers talk management tripe in most professional fields - motivational drivel and business speak from MacDonalds to Goldman Sachs. Football has a language in similar vein and just as workers on the ‘ shopfloor’ understand the gobbledegook and jargon of their bosses so do most football fans regarding the er, bon mot of the football profession. -

No. Just as players will move on for a better situation. -

Precisely. There will be thousands of people in work who are actively looking for a better job. There will be the same taking a job temporarily until something better comes along. Why should football managers be any different? JE presumably calculated that taking the job at Rovers (under conditions known to be dysfunctional to anyone in football) was a risk worth taking until something more appetising (eg not farcical) came along. And it has. -

Pompous tosh. He was an employee of an utterly dysfunctional plaything of spoilt billionaires. Managers will preach anything to get a result. Why on earth would any sane manager with any degree of intelligence, ambition or common sense operate under such farcical conditions? -

Rovers lose another manager, battles to control the narrative continue. Who knew it might happen. -
