That was terrible. Gutless, effortless and clueless. Only Travis, Graham and Holtby looked like they were breaking a sweat. The blame lays with the boss. That game needed a dedicated winger to come on and Graham on from the beginning. Pissing about with the ball at the back to then punce it forwards to the centre backs is not a tactic. Very annoyed by that shower today.

Horrible wanker.

Brilliant. What a relief?

Keep your facts to yourself ?

My first thoughts were of Berkovic. He looks to have that sneaky, well-weighted pass behind the defence. Perfect for the likes of Rothwell, Chapman and Armstrong to run onto (if we ever put faith in them).

I'm surprised he hasn't got a club yet. He's a good pro -
He'd be decent. He can pick a pass and thread them through for the likes of Armstrong to run on to.

Female commentators. I just don't like it. -
I am being very realistic and saying it as it is. I'm not the only one who sees it this way too. I have been very supportive and sympathetic to Mowbray in the past but it is too often a case of same shit, different day. If you prefer to excuse the constant failings and abide the same old Groundhog Day performances and mistakes, that is your absolutely your right. For me, I'm sick of it and there are plenty of better options out there. If you genuinely feel that experienced managers would rather be unemployed and twiddle their thumbs than earn millions at Rovers and manage some exciting and talented players, that too is fine - but I strongly disagree. It is a fact that we turned Warnock down, he went on to get Cardiff promoted the following season. Plenty of decent managers would love to take us on, it is an urban myth that they wouldn't.
-
Have we? Tosin, Armstrong, Rothwell, Bell and Gallagher have been in and out and we constantly make wholesale changes on 60mins.
-
Consolidation isn't good enough, we should always be pushing for promotion. If a skint Charlton Athletic (who have sold some of their better players from last season) can be right up there and churning out wins, then Blackburn Rovers should be. Over the years, countless teams have got back to back promotions or within 2 seasons of leaving League 1 - we should be aspiring to that, not scratching for excuses or positives from defeats. Our main problems are the Tinkerman, shelling £12m on non-scoring strikers and almost Jack shit on leaky defence. I'd much rather we paid just £2million for a better manager.

I don't think I am 'reaching' in the slightest. Mowbray failed to keep us up and succeeded to get us promoted. Since, he has overseen two of the worst runs of results during my 30+ years of supporting the the team. I can't think of another manager afforded that amount of time to get it right. His big money signing has so far failed miserably, his other is currently the world's largest makeshift right midfielder, he has taken an age to invest (temporarily) in the feeble defence, he is stunting the development of Nyambe by persisting with an out of position Bennett and consistently tinkers with a line up that then needs to throw square pegs in round holes after 60mins. Add to this, he is the steward of a side that with annoying regularity ships 2 or more goals and surrenders leads (more than any Rovers side I can remember). In fact, until typing this, I didn't realise just how annoyed with him I am ? We could and should do much better and the likes of other experienced men like Warnock, Houghton, Allardyce, Pardew would get much better results and a greatly reduced goals against column with these same players.

What's his issue with Rothwell as well then? There is a connection with our pacey and dynamic wide men who can pull defences here there and everywhere but don't get a fair crack of the whip or dodge a public flogging- I personally think the truth is, Mowbray had a hissyfit outburst through being sick of his judgement being questioned. His judgement has rightly been questioned throughout 2019; whether that be his continued selections of Mulgrew, Smallwood and Evans as a mundane pairing, the omission of Rothwell, the playing of a great number of players out of natural position and the whereabouts of Chapman. I think Mowbray and his choices have been proven to be drastically wrong regarding all of the above and costly in terms of results (Chapman apart - at this moment in time as he isn't ever given opportunities).
-
My parents go to all of the games and say he has been playing well ?
-
Nice job Tony. Deflected the blame brilliantly for stifling the progression of our excellent young wingers Rothwell and Chapman, in favour of playing expensive strikers out on the wings. No wonder they are pissed off and losing motivation.
-
He really is becoming a silly old prick. All the time wasted with Brereton on the wing, or Bennett hitting his first man or backwards passes, should have been opportunities for this lad.
-
No word of a lie, I was in a restaurant early last year and one of Bury's directors was right beside me and he was telling one of his friends how ridiculous it was that they were paying 7k a week in wages to some player/players.
-
Who is doing that?
-
They'll not need insurance when they just want to build on it. The vultures in charge seem to have got what they truly wanted. My sad prediction is it'll get ransacked first, then burnt, sit there as a sad dilapidated shell and eventually, the community will want it built upon because it'll be a dangerous eyesore. It's happened on a smaller scale to many well-established non-league teams like Rossendale United etc.
-
How long until the stadium goes up in flames? I bet within 12months.
-
That could be a description of Raya, Bell, Evans, Smallwood, Brereton and a host of others from our recent first team.
-
Infuriating but true.
-
We have protected the keeper well in the last 3 games and he has looked increasingly commanding. Areas to improve, we seriously need to cut out the sloppy passing - no excuse for it. Also and unfortunately, I think Graham is looking much older this season. He is struggling - maybe it is because we've played the better teams recently but he isn't anywhere near as involved.

Bury were paying some players 7k a week when in League One last time around. I wouldn't choose to pee my hard-earned money their way just because my parents worked for the club. Phil Neville used to live near me and he's a good lad, with a lot of integrity and always did his bit for the community. I imagine his brother was similar and I wouldn't personally expect them to waste money on a concern such as Bury, who without being too rude have been shaking buckets to keep them going for nearly 30 years. -
