Quite a few woeful finishers tbh Stuart. Nuttall is the standout worst though. Even when he 'places it', he can be three or four yards wide. Certainly not a natural finisher.
-
I often watch the players warm up before the match and Nuttall is an abysmal finisher. He can miss by miles from relatively close range. I also noticed a flashback of Rhodes scoring against Forest, it's easy to forget how good he was in front of goal. He might not have been the complete forward but my God, he could finish. I'd actually like to see a cheeky loan bid for him next season. With Chapman getting behind the full backs and pinging balls across the 6yrd box, he'd tuck them away for fun.

Samuel will be ahead of him

He's wrong in the fact that we failed to win any of the ten games Reed and Travis weren't paired though...and the two we won in the last dozen, they were - and we kept clean sheets ? I'm praying for a eureka moment from him.

I agree AJW and I'm perplexed by any suggestions of Raya and Nyambe. Raya has cost us a LOT of points with basic and unforced errors and should really have been dropped. Nyambe, a couple of good games a few very bad, generally average and quite a few games injured or benched. -

So true. Rhodes and Gestede really profited from him. -

To be honest, Conway was one of the best three players on the park last night Windy. He fired quality ball after ball into the box. Enjoy your holiday ? -

I hope he learns a lot from his goal. Composure got him that, rather than lashing at the ball. I'm a big fan of the lad. The first time I saw him I said he was like Rochina without the faffing about, I haven't changed my mind. He's going to be one he'll of a weapon for us if TM has the balls to stick with him. -

Graham for me. Always puts a shift in. -
That is what has turned my opinion - watching on iFollow. Previously I would've thought we were unlucky etc. Witnessing every game, I now see the same old mistakes, disorganization, lack of effort and intensity- generally just dross.

Oh no, he's said it ?

I'm sure it'll do wonders for his hamstring. -
I don't want to go to Ewood tomorrow. That says it all to me.

We've been here long enough to know he's going to play safe. He's also going to go with Williams rather than Rodwell. All the nonsense talk of giving their all means he'll not sprinkle the starting eleven with any life - and expect him to drop Rothwell for Conway. -
Is it any wonder we are getting beaten if they genuinely think that they are playing well?
-
I disagree, we need experience (based on our previous appointments of Ince, Berg, Kidd, the bald tosser and Appleton) only Hughes worked out. Mowbray's main positive has been experience, alongside his relationship with the owners. I honestly think to stop us imploding, he needs a role at Rovers but away from team affairs - he just isn't getting it anywhere near right and the weaj-minded players aren't playing for him. It is only through fear that the majority of the fanbase aren't up in arms about results and performances - they have weak, muddled, disjointed and just absolutely dire. Add to that, our players look unfit - the reality isn't great at all. But for that January, we would be down - no doubt about that at all.
-
I honesty can't believe that anyone could see effort and desire today. Rothwell was giving his all, as was Graham. The rest? Walking their way through the match. Half-arsed crosses, mis-placed simple passes useless punts upfield or out of play and no desire to hit Stoke on the break. Stoke were a poor side, we were worse - It was a shocking display.
-
I am now in the Mowbray time to go camp. I'd gladly have him as a senior figure at the club because he has dome a hell of a lot off the field, but on it we have been shocking. Those players were really unfit, uninterested, the tactics were hoof it and hope and 2 wins from 11 isn't anywhere near good enough. An unacceptable performance.

Considering he was one, Mowbray can't spot a defender for shit.
