  1. Amazing what happens when we stop playing the square pegs in round holes game. First time in ages that the subs have made such a huge difference, but let's not pretend that wasn't because of the abysmal way we were set up in the first place.
  2. He gets Tony backpats from the Liverpool coaches every time he's under pressure about how good he is for their young players.
  3. To be fair Tony did say that he didn't do formations... and good god does it show.
  4. Teams are often very much a reflection of their coaches/managers... we are no exception. Boring, dour and no real care to actually stand up for the count and do something that isn't "safe".
  5. I see that it's yet another season of panic signing a bunch of players not fit enough to get into the first team. No wonder this squad is regressing.
  6. He's absolutely using his failures in the transfer window to frame each game we collapse in as "being happy we fought for a point". In no way should a Rovers fan be happy with yet another capitulation. I would love to know the amount of times we have blown not just a lead, but a lead of 2 goals+ under his management.
  7. I swear half his interviews are just him laughing at the fans as he goes to cash his paycheck.
  8. That is absolutely a red any day. That is an awful, awful challenge.
  9. I mean, it is Tony's fault overall... but let's not pretend either Brereton or Gallagher are worth anywhere near what we've wasted on them.
  10. Unbelievably predictable. Get Tony gone.
  11. Our defence is utter garbage.
  12. Doesn't Bell play for Luton now? I'm guessing that.
  13. If he had done either of those things he'd have absolutely ended up at Ewood.
  14. Commentary has been working fine for me on the Rovers site. It was even turned on ahead of kickoff for once
  15. Kaminski isn't an improvement on Kaminski just because we've heard of him now. Left back being stronger is still up for debate imo because Pickering hasn't been that good and I have no idea about the new guy. I'm not convinced our midfield is any better - it looks incredibly lightweight and has been overrun consistently this season so far, and we are definitely weaker up front. Our recruitment has been appalling once again, because the management team don't have an agreed style and as a result can't bring people in the fit to one.
  16. Are we sure that we're more solid defensively? We've conceded in every game so far. I can only guess it's because last season we spent all year doing nothing with the ball whereas so far this season we just keep getting dominated so it looks like they're better even though we're still leaking goals for fun. West Brom could have easily won 6/7-1 had it not been for the woodwork and Kaminski more than our defence.
  17. Problem is, BB could smash 30 in this season and can walk out the door for nothing because of how grossly mismanaged our contracts have been.
  18. All the talk out of Southampton seems to be £1-2m. Even more embarrassing on our end.
  19. So apart from a second LB which was needed we've signed yet another centre back, which wasn't really necessary with Wharton set to come back, so will likely just block the development of him and Carter, and two wingers who have forced out one that we own, and will block Dolan's development (not that he'd have played him out there anyway). Please someone explain what TM's plan is because it looks like he hasn't got one.
  20. He looked really good against Forest but despite Tony's desperation to sign him it seems as though he's never been interested in actually playing him. Giving him a new contract just to ship him out straight away is kind of a scummy move imo.
  21. Multiple people called that Carter wouldn't last the 90, so Tony leaves him on the pitch and the inevitable happens. Whether it's the right decision or not it was so likely to happen.
  22. Gulf in class in terms of manager. Imagine if we hadn't decided we were too good for Colin. People wonder why crowds are dwindling - please let me know who wants to pay £30+ to watch this garbage?
  23. Again. We lucked out in the first couple of games but we're getting outclassed consistently. Tony is just lucky that we a habit of getting okay results when under the cosh.
  24. I've been listening to the radio, didn't even notice BB was on the pitch as I don't think he's been mentioned once.
