Mowbray needs firing for this defensive "organisation" alone. It's been a mainstay his entire tenure here. Every game, every attack you feel there are multiple mistakes that could lead to a goal. -

Intent doesn't matter, he's kicked him in the face! Our defending against ball into the box is an absolute joke. -

Because Lenihan isn't and never has been a defender, and having him as the permanent fixture is imo one of the biggest issues we've had over the past few years. -

Let's be honest we could have a prime Ferdinand and Vidic and Tony would have them looking like league 2 standard defenders. Utterly predictable. -

I wouldn't bother looking at that until we prove we can take a win off an even semi-competent team. -
Literally his job and he hasn't sorted it despite having years to do so. If he only has one player that wants to win a game then that is on him. He signed them, he motivates them. Get rid.

He never looks like he can be assed win or lose, part of the reason he needs his p45 ASAP

You know, after the Brentford fightback I was sure we actually had some fight in us, this time we drew 2-2 at Brentford not because we collapsed but because we were stronger... and the we follow it with another season of relegation level results. Time to go Tony, I'm near the point where this dirge is masking anything good you did.

Please tell me there is no one left who is still under any delusion that we can make the top 6 when we can't beat anyone remotely close to the battle of promotion? Do one Tony. -

This is half the problem - we finally get a new experienced centre back and we just drop him and continue to play the CM turned CB and LB turned CB which have proven time and time and time again that they're at best lower Championship level as a pair. -

Complete and utter dross. No cutting edge, no pressure on the opposition and yet again bottling it when we get anywhere near a decent position. This team has promise but will never be a good team with such a dreadfully outdated manager. -

Utter, utter dross from start to finish. Not a single attempt in the second half. Couldn't care less about the injuries - it's a squad game and an inability to rotate falls on the manager. Put Tony on the Boro team bus back to the North East and leave him there. -

Wrap Kaminski in cotton wool because this keeper somehow scares me even more than some of the dross we've had in the last few years. -

That's what happens when you go for a class manager and let him have his own staff. -

Please never play Gallagher again, it's basically playing with 10 men every time he sets foot on the field. Tony should be fired for that signing alone. -

There is absolutely no chance of this team getting higher than mid table. Get this clueless muppet out and get a competent manager with a clear vision in. -
Rovers vs Reading at Virtual Ewood
RTM08 replied to Lancs Rover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It's simple - good attacks win games, good defences win leagues. Mowbray has been here years yet our defence has never looked better than a mid-to bottom half level defence and this is why we will be midtable until we get shut of him. It's utterly predictable and why I can't get excited even now we've started slapping the bad teams about. -
Very happy with the last two performances - these games against weak opposition are exactly the kind of games we used to throw points away on by not being ruthless enough. An added bonus is we're not as goal-shy as I feared we might be. However. I refuse to buy into the hype until we get some cover for GK and another LB - Bell has done well but there's been less pressure on him. If we can keep it up for the next month or so I'll buy into it more but for now I will be cautiously optimistic.

I hope that the faith in the keeper allows the defence going forwards to stop being so frantic as they have in the past. So far I like what I've seen of him, though I have watched Walton for the last year so my idea of what an acceptable keeper should be is probably a bit lower than usual.
