and what happens if the wage cap rumour is wrong?

I wouldn't have been offering Batth a straight 2 year contract if that what Derby have offered him to sign there.

Eustace jumped ship cos he wanted more say and mostly full control of transfers which he now as Derby I would guess hence when you look at his signings they are former players of his from previous clubs or experience championship players like Morris. That's is how he wants his squad. Rovers want to explore the overseas like we done the last 2 summers windows with some signings which have worked out and we are looking at continue with the plan from Gestede, Owen and Ismael.

Eustace jumped ship because it’s a shit show, just like JDT, I’d bet ismael won’t be far behind. Also it’s suhails plan. Cost cutting, spend cheap, sell anything decent. Been going on for years now, noticed you pass the blame on to those who leave tho, it’s NEVER suhail or venkys 🤗

no one has blame the players for asking for more have we?

and just to be clear I ain't blaming Rovers either. I see all 3 players has key players so I would put them on good wages and make them highest earners here but also you have to be careful cos of the knock on effect of that cos then other players agents will be knock on the door asking for new contracts and higher wages for their players.

That’s rubbish, nobody deserves to be on as much as brittain, Travis, or tronstad. Our 3 key players should be our highest earners, there isn’t anyone else in the squad who has the right to ask to be on the same as them.

  3. I’d offer batth a 2 year deal, 2nd year being on reduced terms and more likely a back up, unless he has a great season again.

on the other hand if I was him I’d pick Derby.

and anyone hating on Wrexham, they’d beat us to most players in a head to head battle as it currently stands.

shows how much of a fucked up club we’ve become.

I'm amazed about that really, I thought they would trigger him and Vale just to have bodies around for pre season before shipping them both out again.

The retained list seems a bit more ruthless than usual, which I am a fan of.

I'm glad we are getting no return on him, pointless at this club.

I'm not a huge fan of Hedges, but he's a much better option that Markanday.

I agree I don’t mind hedges, along as there is someone better in front of him 👍

I want JRC to stay. I think he's a good player. He's been played out of position far too many times. He is a right sided attacking midfielder. Rather have him as back up to Tronstad and Travis than Forshaw.

I’d be a very happy LB if JRC was on the right attacking lining up against me.

  6. Another season goes by all fart no poo, another criminally underbacked January has cost the club once again, I make that 3/5 seasons the club have failed the players and fans in helping with a final push. Fair play to the players and staff that tried to make it happen, it’s not your fault, the owners have failed you.

try enjoy the break everyone, and we’ll see what bullshit they come up with in a couple of months time.

  7. Zero ambition is what I got from that, how can you keep building a club up when you’re  looking  to sell your better players every year or even worse let your better players go for free, Doesn’t matter how much money we make or where we finish in the leagues the budget will never change.

expensive season ticket to see the U18s

    Farce.

  8. I know a few are angry at the players, but we know full well this team has been full of mediocre players, superb first half to the season, injuries, fatigue, loss of form, it was always going to catch up, the club have let these players down in January, instead of signing 3/4 who can challenge/cement a place the starting 11, we signed even more mediocre players to sit on the bench. If I was a key player I’d be fucking pissed. Simply 4-6 players who should be nowhere near that line up and the club failed to back them and Eustace.

What are the legalities around a sit in?

Fans just not leaving the ground after a match (maybe the final home game of the season?)? Obviously I'm sure it's 'illegal', but 15k people staying in their seats to protest the regime would have some impact.

Disagree, action is needed now, wait till the last game of the season it’ll be over before we know it then a 3 month break will break all momentum, fans clearly aren’t united, huff and puffs won’t do anything. Game stoppage is the way I’d go starting with the next home game vs Sheffield. Hey maybe they’d also be on board with the idea.
