  1. Tbf she's got a great pair of Bristols! πŸ˜…
  2. if it bounces back try: F4tW4nk3R@rovers.co.uk πŸ˜œπŸ˜„
  3. Has anyone got a clip of Dion 'introducing' himself to the Ewood faithful last night? Doesn't seem to be on any of the highlights I've seen, even the EFL extended version. First time I can ever remember a new player coming on, making one simple pass then one crunching tackle and having the whole BBE singing his name. Loved it!
  4. Should be one more on that list too if Sven hadn't been such a bellend and decided Keown was a better choice than our Matty!
  5. Still one of my favourite clips of lockdown footy when we could hear everything the players said! 🀣
  6. I thought that, but having seen him winding up the Leeds fans & showing old wonky face who's boss, i think we might see an entirely different side of him in interviews compared to the real JE.
  7. Ah ok, I'd assumed that it was a case of it automatically renewed on a 12 monthly basis. My bad. Every day's a school day! 😁
  8. Agreed, but better than the 12mth rolling as was suggested. There'd only be a month left on that so wouldn't exactly put anyone off regarding any compensation payments.
  9. Looks like you're correct, which is good news (for once, with our lot!) https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/february/09/eustace-appointed-rovers-head-coach/
  10. I actually think that you're in the pub more than I am, & (for those who know me) that's going some! Much respect (apart from the tea bit - kindly don't use that kind of language on these message boards this is a respectable place!🀣)
  11. Merry Christmas one & all. Big thanks to everyone on here for keeping the banter going & a special thanks to all the mods & people behind the scenes for making this a very special place to discuss all things Rovers. Have a great day.
  12. Glad it wasn't just me! I had to google it. It's basically where you get a load of fans to hold up say, pieces of card or something which when all done together either spells out a message or picture etc. You'll have seen it loads of times, as I have, but like you, I'd no idea it was called a Tifo. Example below from when Spurs did it for Harry Kane although there's much more impressive ones from abroad if you google it. No doubt anything that Rovers do will be equally underwhelming if the 'Rovers' in white bin bags in the Darwen End upper are anything to go by!.
  13. 🀣 I know, but why do they get delicious pies & hot dogs whilst us regulars in the lower tier get the usual god awful stuff?! πŸ€”πŸ˜„
  14. Wholeheartedly agree! My Dad was in the Merchant Navy & was away at sea the time of the final so couldn't go. I always used to send him a weekly email with Rovers results & a bit of a report from myself (Comms in the middle of the Atlantic weren't what they are today & ship-to-shore comms were extremely expensive). I remember the opening line of my report: "Well Dad, you've heard of the Matthews Final, that was the Friedel Final!" An absolute legend is Brad.
  15. Aaaanywaay. I'm pissed in Pimlico! (Gotta be a song there somewhere) & I've gotta go back on site tomorrow before coming back to god's county. But I have to say, I've picked a bloody good boozer tonight. Pride of Pimlico if you're ever of the misfortune of having to come down to 'the smoke' & are in this area.
  16. You're missing a bit about when the player playing the ball is beyond the last defender (excluding the GK). πŸ˜‰
  17. Got to be behind the ball if the player making the pass is ahead of the last defender. Forwards pass or backwards pass is immaterial these days.
  18. Down in that London! In a pub in Pimlico, in a good spot so I can see both Liverpool & Celtic games, watching my phone getting strange looks for fist pumping & giving it "get in!". No fucks given!
  19. Hyam's a fucking Mile off, but cantwell wasn't before - fuck em! Get in!!!!
  20. If you actually purchase online, it'll cost you a quid according to this! 🀣
  21. Whoop de fucking do! We've got stock in club shop! News for you dickhead, I ordered a dodgy one from China, it still arrived faster! (Not that I would ever condone ordering counterfeit goods - unless it hurts Waggot & the V-scum)
  22. Incidentally, on the other side of the coin, on Sat I overheard a guy behind me talking & he said that one of his mates who usually goes with another adult (can't remember whether he said his dad or just another mate, but it was an adult anyway) had taken his son (a child) with the other ST as his mate/dad couldn't make it. When they arrived at the turnstile checkpoint, they were made to go to the ticket office and 'downgrade' the adult ST to a child's ticket. There was no charge for this, but they then issued a paper ticket for the game! WTF? Surely, if it's a full price adult ticket it shouldn't matter who uses it? Just seemed extremely pedantic to me and also I though they didn't want to waste too much paper & ink!?
  23. Agreed. It's a long time since teams would've been wary about coming to Ewood - probably back to the Hughes era. I bet not many teams fancy coming to our gaff now. Back to the game, I thought Beck was immense (bar one error). Prem beckons for that lad, make the most of it this year lads & lasses. Cantwell was great but, bloody hell, he's not keen on getting stuck in. Would've been my MotM but for wimping out of quite a few tackles, especially early on. Even Beck had a go at him once, then Trav, then Carter. Much better 2nd half though tbf. Think he might've had a bollocking at HT. Not much else to add really, shit game, 3pts, move on to the next.
  24. Just to let you know, Samsung Internet & android Chrome seem to be working fine for me now. Once again, thanks for the time & effort you guys put in to keep this site running.
