  1. You're entitled to your opinion as I am mine. They are exact polar opposites but not to worry. I'll leave it there, for now!
  2. Who pointed a finger at you specifically? I certainly didn't MATE. You know what they say about the cap fitting though, eh!?
  3. No, absolutely no. It's a flawed and week argument. The man is not good enough, He is not a winner: a blind man on a galloping horse can see that FFS. Did you see his depth of enthusiasm and care tonight? He could not give a fuck!
  4. Are they not all pillocks employed by the club?
  5. What's Jack Marshall, Ken Furphy, Gordon Lee etc. doing these days? Time moves on. Do we just have to contend ourselves with shit, shit and more shit because we may appoint another dead-leg? If that's the case I'm jacking it all in. It's a ludicrous argument. WE ARE BLACKBURN ROVERS! Everyone at Brockhall and Ewood hate Mowbray with a passion, they all think he's a complete dick. Can you not see that in everybody's body language week after week? The man sat motionless all match tonight, wrapped in a bloody snood. Do you not think he should have been stood in The Technical area snarling instructions, motivating and driving his team on? Course he should!! Just fuck off Mowbray, you are damaging our famous club and we've suffered enough in the past 10 years FFS. Just bloody do one!!
  6. Only on '4More' den (Channel 4 'catch up'). I watched the 30 minutes highlights of Day 5 twice later that night, so elated was I. It seems to me that generally our nation may have forgotten to have pride in our successes and all too often want to concentrate, bitch and moan about what may be wrong. It pisses me off no end! If we're to get out of this pandemic induced mess, we all need to gird up our loins and as one, have a get up and at 'em type attitude. Nobody can change the past but everybody can influence the future!! WE ARE The Rovers!!!
  7. We'll be resting Elliot I think. Trav will sit, back 4 picks itself really. Davenport and Rothwell could double up in midfield, Bradley head of 'the diamond' and Gallagher (?) and Arma front 2. COYB!! WE ARE The Rovers!!! edit: What a bench that would make too? Be afraid Nobbers, very afraid. COYB!!!
  8. I don't know about anyone else but I'm still buzzing about Tuesday Morning. It was a brilliant way to start the day and put a smile at long last, on the face of everyone, even those who have just a remote interest in cricket. Brilliant, just brilliant 5 day performance, on the Indian subcontinent. The best I remember in a long time, if not ever.
  9. New World Reds from South America, whites from South Africa, New Zealand and Australia and bugger all from USA and you won't go far wrong. French is best but I'm biased! Enjoy and hope you're toasting a Nob End pasting, cabbage patch or not.....
  10. How many muscle strains, pulls, tears, hamstrings have we had during game time on grass this season and last? It's hogwash.
  11. I gotta tell ya Dreams, I tried to impress DJ darrenrover and he said wot? who? I felt a right dick! To be fair, he's done a season in Magga, Ibiza and Prague and he did say it depends what genre because there are loads (apparently) 😕: I've just texted him "Dub genre or sommat" and see what he comes back with. What happened to Mods, Rock, Punk, Dance and Easy Listening? It was bloody easy back in t' day. No longevity these days either!
  12. I froze my harmonies off today, I'll have you know!
  13. That's 'out the box type of thinking' gumboots. Do you really think you could credit them with that?
  14. Me neither, I was just thinking I haven't a fecking clue what they're on about. I considered I had a pretty broad based musical knowledge until I started reading all this double dutch! I'll impress my youngest son who's a DJ though, I can't wait to ring him when he finishes work!
  15. There's an avid Rovers fan, ex school pal of mine, living in Melbourne, who's already let his feelings known to the bastard at one of Victory's home games. He'll not be there much longer!!
  16. Mowbray must have some good points otherwise Pep, Klopp and Everton wouldn't have entrusted us with the cream of their current youth crop. Otherwise, he's past his sell by date here, many others would get a much better, consistent tune out our current First Team Squad. He also must either be getting his excuses in early for another season's failings (the Ewood pitch) or he's nowt but sawdust between his ears: They trained on Ewood today I've been told by someone who had a nosey following a Covid test. Despite knowing the state of the pitch and there being adequate facilities available at Brockhall. The players and ground staff must wonder what the feck is going on. Absolutely bloody ridiculous!
  17. Thanks to CLB for doing me the honours. With a bit of luck our Grand daughter will be coming home today and we may be able to be introduced tomorrow before we thump PNE! Edit: To cap a brill all round day, I got a last minute dot com Covid jab too (reserve list at pharmacy). The stars are aligning, Nobbers be afraid, very afraid!!! COYB!!
  18. Freezing my t1ts off!! 🤣
  19. The Undertones - Jimmy Jimmy (1979). in tribute to James Anderson and our fantastic victory a couple of days ago against India. Several hours later our first grandchild was born. Then I copped a 48 hour ban on here for my sins. So Tuesday 9th February was certainly a red (see what I did there?) letter day!! https://youtu.be/g77eSTOTupw
  20. www.bing.com: 2.weblocThe one and only Dingle that I have, and probably ever will, cheer for. "Oh Jimmy Jimmy, Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Anderson!www.bing.com: 2.webloc www.bing.com: 3.webloc
  21. I've not played for a bit so I'm not match fit! Has @oldjamfan retired from reffing? Bob Dylan - Lilly, Rosemary and The Jack of Hearts
  22. Happy Mondays - Step On
  23. Quite poignant for me that Mark. You may or may not be aware, that I'd signed for Washington Diplomats to play in The North American Soccer League for the 1980/81 season, following a recommendation from Liverpool's Head Scout Geoff Twentyman. I would have lined up against the likes of Pele, George Best, Rodney Marsh and Johann Cruyff during the forthcoming season. Quite an accolade for a young 19 year old upstart from Darren! The season prior, Diplomats had been runners up to New York Cosmos and ambitions were high for the forthcoming season. Unfortunately, the week before pre-season training was due to start in West Virginia, The Club went bust, so I was denied the opportunity sadly.
